great interview, great guy... hope Bay learns something from that kid

I think the entertainment industry is finally realizing that you can't BS the audience anymore...not in this information age, everything can get out unfiltered

not like lets say 1989, where the only entertainment information people got was from Entertainment Tonight or if they read Variety or THR, which are heavily controlled

Almost nothing but good news of this film so far.

Agreed.

Hopefully Bay actually develops the Autobots other then Prime and Bumblebee too. Ratchet was practically a no show in ROTF.

So much screen time wasted on the Twins, just blabbering nonsense. And actual good characters get barely any lines.

Labeouf is now completely redeemed in my eyes.

Labeouf has now shot up back to my top 10 favorite actors.
and this post from you proove to me that you are naive. 100% naive.

Shia says that TF2 is a fantastic movie. fans complain and bash the movie. 12 months later he says that it wasnt good.

you dont like him and now you do.

come on SPiderByte. open your eyes.

he should learn how to be a 100% hypocrite in hollywood ? he should learn how to bash your boss in hollywood?
you know Spielberg is the boss from Bay and he never said anything bad about him.

or should Bay learn from Shia how to make 100 million in 2009? Bay made a huge movie in 2009 and over 100 millions.

he should learn what from him? how to suck up to the interntet fans who hate SHia when he likes TF2 and praise him when he changes hes mind?

you know there is a reason why people make fun of fanboys . :cwink:

because they deserve it??

Ive never been on the Shia hate train and I honestly have never read anything really bad about him except on the ol' internets

I see it as him trying to extend an olive branch to some of the fandom, and I can dig that....but I hope he realizes, like Bay did back before the first movie that you can't sweat the fandom...because all they will do is protest your old office, try to hack into your computer, and steal things from the set (all things that happened during the filming of the first movie)

@Dark b

Shia OBVIOUSLY had to say TF2 and TF1 were great films when he was promoting them. Now in retrospect he has time to sit back and really analyze the film, and for him to say hes dissapointed in TF2 I really respect that. Not many actors will admit when the movie they were in did a crap job. Even WHEN it did good in the box office. That means he doesnt just care about the paycheck he really seems to want to partake in quality films.

I have seen tons of actors/actresses make fun of horrible movies they were in.

IMO he should have said that he promises to up his work in TF3, not diss the hand that feeds him and make fun of movies he choose to be in.

Wow, a lot of actors are really interacting with the audience.

Chris Evans admits he was nervous about taking Cap.
Chris Evans basically summarizes the character of Cap, and says that he would like the story even if it weren't superhero-based.
Shia admits TF2 and Indy 4 weren't good.
Chris Hemsworth doesn't dodge a question about the Avengers, unlike most people involved, and confirms that Joss Whedon is directing, without even being asked about him.

Bad. Ass.

Chris Evans also admitted that he wasn't confident or happy with Fantastic Four 2. When asked if he would want to do a third(shortly after the second film was released), I can't remember exactly what he said but he definitely was hinting at a hell no!

I really can't wait to see him as Captain America. I don't mind that he's playing another Marvel character since the FF films were a seperate thing under Fox and not part of Marvel's plan for one universe with their films. Now when it comes to Terrance Howard...I don't like the recent news that he's in talks with Marvel about something. He did say he was happy for Don Cheadle getting the part in the sequel and that Cheadle apparently wanted to play Rhodes since the first film.

While I do agree that he should have just said he plans to up his work and try harder, I remember the writers of the film(don't remember their full names)said that Bay put in a lot of crap that wasn't in their script...like the twins. In an interview they fully busted him out so they wouldn't take the blame for something they didn't write that was so stupid. I think that's part of the factor with Shia saying he wasn't happy with the final product. He probably liked the initial script and then Bay started being dumb on the set with changing things around, or changing the script right before shooting. So I don't think it was necessarily a case of Shia taking a dumb ass movie to begin with.

The first film despite some lame humour and needing more focus on the Transformers themselves wasn't that bad for a summer action flick and I liked the new Star Trek. I don't think those two writers are all that bad and hope they wrote the new one and Bay doesn't mess with the script.

he did that in the interview he just had at Cannes with Access Hollywood

I think actors are just saying what the fanboys want to think.

I mean why else would someone bash a movie so many months later. I mean if you didn't like it. just speak up during the making off.

Like i said its BS and for reason trying to suck up to certain people.

some actors don't do that...I was watching an interview with Billy Bob Thornton and he was talking about this movie he was working on a few years ago and how it sucked and he was doing it for a paycheck, but he refused to name the movie

I do find it strange that he's coming out over a year later expressing his dislike for the film. Just a little odd that after so many bashed it that he's just now agreeing with them.

I mean talk about biting the hand that feeds you. Hollywood seems to be full of them.

I mean all his biggest films are Spielberg associated. Disturbia, TF 1 and 2 and Indy Jones 4.

Im fairly sure he cleared what he was going to say with the Beard....Spielberg knows how to deal with the masses

Cause if not he'll be working those project greenlit films again as fast as he left those. And lets not forget about the smash Hit Dumb and Dumberer.

I think Spielberg has lost his touch with films that aren't dramas, he should stick to those and let the new directors do the summer type films.

Didn't Robert Downey Jr. say that filming for one film was horrible? (it's implied that it's the Soloist.)

I am saying he shouldn't make fun of movies that he chooses to be in. He is calling out the people that gave him his career. It would be one thing to make fun of a movie you did years ago and will never do again, but to make fun of TF when you choose to be in these films is ridonkulous. It would be like Connery saying he hated Bond writers and directors after he shot From Russia and was about to do Goldeneye.

Look at Shia's line of work. TF and Indy 4 aren't the only terrible movies he has been in. Eagle Eye, I Robot? Maybe he needs to learn to choose better gigs. Do we need Shia to tell us Michael Bay makes hollow movies? No.

I mean I find it funny that he is doing it, more power to him to call out Michael Bay. But it doesn't make me like him as an actor when he constantly chooses crappy movies to be in and I think this is a stupid move on his part.

Eagle Eye was Dreamworks......so in other words also a movie where SPielberg gave him the job.

from Disturbia until TF2 he was the golden boy from The Beard. now he worked in an Oliver Stone movie. so he worked in a movie that is not from Spielberg.

i remember that he said that he wouldnt do a 3rd movie after FOX and every movie expert knew that they will not make a third.

if he said weeks after the realese then ok. but i rememmber that it was after everyone knew.

sorry dont belive it.

if he's not careful he could end up like the rest of the cast of Even Stevens. The chick who played Ren was in a ABC original family movie which was a sequel to a sequel of that movie the cutting edge.

Yeah, I don't think he should peeve off Spielberg; Spielberg can make his life miserable if he wants to, after all he did make Shia into the movie star that he is today. But then again, Fox peeved off Bay regarding her comments on TF2, and she's back doing TF3 anyway.
