That first design is like a car engine with a turbine at the back. Wth is that ****?

It's suppose to be Shockwave in nuclear reactor/cannon mode. Read the french writing in that pic.

Whatever it is, it looks like a V8 with a rocket strapped at the back.

"Scripting problems due to the writer's strike" my posterior. Somebody should have probably raised a red flag during the storyboard session when it was pointed out that they were gonna sPend half a million dollars animating a CGI robot humping Megan Fox's leg and cast a human sidekick who's only real contribution to the story was distracting a security guard in his underwear.

Chris B,

I've never heard or seen that take on Shockwave. Very, very interesting. Still, I believe the big secret of the film is Unicron. How the article phrases the "mystery" of the film tied to the Space Race...it has to be Unicron in the end.

Who is Unicron and what does he do?

Leo did serve a purpose,a few main ones,he in a way helped Sam and the others find the Matrix. He suggested for them to go to Simmons under his computer nickname and it paid off,Simmons had a map which helped them to find Jetfire which helped them with traveling to Egypt to find the Matrix of leadership. And of course he brought a contrasting difference with his internet operation,Leo that is.

it was definitely a factor when you're under contract to a deliver a movie by a certain date

..or having a movie geared towards selling kids toys, but have one of the highlights of the movie (Devastator) walk around with two huge testicles...:whatever: You know i understand , yet don't agree with some of the humor in TF2, but the testicles one really put the movie far beyond ridiculous for me...

I also don't see how they're going with the whole mystery angle anymore, seeing as how Megatron revealed to the world the existence of the Transformers in the last movie.

Hey Earle, Miracles do happen, lets just rename the movie Transformers: the Miracle on 34th Street :P

Holy crap, I remember having this toy! :wow:

Okay, with this new information, I'm actually looking forward to this. When you have a director, a director like Bay no less take the blame and admitting TF2's mistakes, the film is ****. But I'm glad he did. And so far, it actually sounds he is trying to fix things. Which I never thought would happen in a million years. This movie is already sounding better than TF2. Hopefully I'm right next year.

I guess I have a little bit more respect for Micheal for at least admitting many mistakes were made with the last movie. Most hollywood directors would never admit to making mistakes especially for a film that made over 400million domestically. Now I'm starting to get interested in this movie.

I was hoping Brett Hackner would finally admit mistakes were made with X-Men 3 but, he's proved time and time again that he suffers from one of the worst forms of megalomania I've ever seen. I never thought there was anyone in hollywood who could make William Shatner look humble.

I hope they make Shockwave more badass than The Fallen was eventho he was cool prime still merked dat ass wit ease, and how does Shockwave stand vs Boss Megs when he returns to Cybertron

He'll be Shockwave in name only, i'm sure.

TF1 is on TNT right now, for those who want to check it out again for nostalgia.

I'm watching it right now. Man, it's great. It's one of the reasons why you go to the movies. I miss what the film had. It had heart, characters that were likeable, good humor. "Yeah, I'm not getting you a Porsche!" That's what was missing in TF2 that needs to be back. I think it is. If Shia admitted TF2 didn't have heart, he wouldn't have done this if it didn't.

Hmm.... Shockwave looks alright.... Can't go wrong wif da cyclops eye
