Omega Supreme would be cool . . . could be even bigger than Devastator was in TFROTF. Not to mention, could possibly cause some damage to Shockwave.

Shockwave will probably summon Unicron at the end of the film... like how Devastator was summoned in ROTF.

And I'll be surprised if Bay doesnt give the Autobots their own bad boy. (no pun intended)

Michael Bay was hinting to wanting to do more IMAX shots on the next film (that next film being TF3 of course). I haven't heard/read any official info concerning that yet though.

It is a question of how he's going to pull that off considering that they are shooting the movie in 3-d. IMAX cameras shoot footage in 2-d and they would have to convert the footage in 3-d.

IMO seems to be quite alot of work ( and money) to do that.

Those are 3-d cameras.
I wonder what Bay's answer will be when reporter will ask the question why he's shooting the movie in 3-d after his rant
paycheck. :woot:

i hope that Bay left hes ego outside and hired a 3D stereoscopic expert for advice.

Seeing as Nelson has said over on SFTE that this has NOTHING to do with TF3.... case closed IMHO

I see robots, not cameras

of course the first picture is a Big Red X so that's probably the picture of the camera, and of course it's the only picture that doesn't work, go figure

Actually if you want to read this brief interview that AICIN did with sir Ridley Scott, http://www.aintitcool.com/node/45468 you might learn a thing or two about the 3-d cameras (I did), and Scott also talks about Bay realizing that there is "no difference/challenge" in shooting 3-d. Technologically yes, but it's not impractical as Bay thought it would be. I'd say any camera, even IMAX one can be converted to a 3-d camera using a high speed beam splitter.
Read the interview . . . :yay:

I ****ing hate 3D...and it pisses me off that the fandom, which is generally savvy, has fallen for this ****ing gimmick

^I'm with you on that

I haven't seen a single 3D movie and don't plan on it. Infact, I boycott them, if a movie is in 3D, I'll refuse to see it

With the new Digital 3D that has come out, I have to say that I absolutely LOVE 3D. HOWEVER.....if the movie is converted to 3D during Post-Production, then you might as well forget it. As long as the movie is actually shot in 3D, then I am all for it. Avatar completely sold me on it, that's for sure. 3D is not a gimmick and is here to stay. Sure the first generation of 3D TVs will be expensive, but like any other technology, it will eventually come down in price. I would even bet that by Christmas, they will have come down tremendously. I have a 3D TV at home, and from what I have experienced, it is AWESOME!

I didn't know they was actually using 3-D cameras after Michael Bay's rant, I thought the movie was gonna be converted to 3-D during post-production. Its a shame if they don't use IMAX cameras. I like the 3-D in Avatar but I like IMAX alot better than 3-D. The IMAX shots in ROTF (and TDK for that matter) was just amazing and breathtaking!

TDK is the only movie that I saw in IMax twice.
Not ganna see this one in 3D tho, the glasses hurt my nose after an hour or so.

Just seen this video of Bee, Sideswipe and the Italia..... does anyone else think the Stingray is missing a roof? Could the images of the roofless Sideswipe i posted recently be legit??

but you can not make a 3D imax big budgemovie. even if God would come down it would be impossible.

there was a 3D IMAX documentary made some months ago. no way that they could do this with a blockbuster.

you think ILM will render two renders at a resolution higher then 3 K? where ? on this planet in 2010? never.

Sideswipe and the new bot (hopefully Hot Rod) hanging with Bee means 1 thing. More screentime for Sideswipe. :woot:

That's how it should've been in ROTF with Sideswipe and Jolt replacing the Twins.
