Checked out the 1080 version from Apple. God damn is this going to be one pretty movie.

Let me start off by saying that I do believe those are Autobots judging by the appearance of all those dead bots in the ship.

Their head insignia which resembles that of Prime and other Autobot was prevalent on all of them.

The bot at the end is probably one of the original 13. Either Primus, Ultra Magnus, Vector Prime.

As a long time TF fan I feel ashamed asking this but, who is he? I've never seen him in the comics.

They are most defintely Autobots.

If everyone watches carefully in the beginning you'll see that the dead bots have the Autobot helmet insignia which Jazz, Prime, Bumblebee, Ironhide and something that most of them have.

Plus their more human face is something thats again exclusive to them in the movie world.

While it's not a bad thing, it's pretty similar to the derelict ship sequence in Alien. I got a chuckle out of myself.

I think this is probably Alpha Trion (like others said). I'm glad that Bay is allowing more human-looking TF in his movie, although more than anything else I wish he'd redesign Starscream to make him not look like a flying chicken.

The trailer seems interesting, but after the disappointment of ROTF, I'm not going to set a high expectation, even if the official trailer looks great. Hopefully TF3 will turn out to be more akin to Spielberg's Last Crusade than Lucas' ROTJ.

Starscream is always kind of pathetic so it suits him. I like the different shapes and designs the robots have, its one of the good things about this franchise.

Btw, do we know how Prime gets the trailer and what happens to it when he transforms?
