the site was correct with the Change Up trailer. but they are were wrong about the TF trailer.

Because the last movie sucked and not as many people are excited for this one.

^ It's funny since X-Men: First Class is coming off of X-Men Origins: Wolverine and X-Men: The Last Stand. I brought that up because more people are interested in that than Dark of the Moon on this website.

I don't think that it will increase much, we are almost getting pretty damn closer to July 1st. Since mid 2009, there has only been 6,424 posts in this place, it's friggin' embarrassing imo. My theory is that many of the posters stopped posting because they are not 'casual' Transformers fans, hence the big drop regarding a number of posts, imo. If these people that I speak of were more forgiving, then this portion would have had more than 6,424 posts a loooooooooooooong time ago. I think. To me, it sounds like the most logical explanation for what was once a very distracting 'mystery' to me.

actually there are 4 reasons for this

1. Last movie didn't please this audience so much

2. Unlike most other big franchises, bay formers has other more popular movie community based forum/venues to go to discuss such things. 2 to jump to mind.

3. Unlike most/some other franchises round these parts, TF hasn't actually shown any kind of tangible trailer to be discussed. All I've seen is image and traditional teasers, even super 8 has shown more real footage. Now if this place is dead the day after the film is released, I'd laugh a bit too.

4. This forum, on this website is known for it's negativity imo, even I dread coming here sometimes...and mostly do to read another rant or debunk some good old hyperbole now and again.
But hey maybe if the ***** fests start up again the post count will go back to what it was...and I'm not joking about that.

still no one can deny that this have changed from what they were a few years back. And a good movie would probably have changed that.

Like I said, as they have gone down here (for a few reasons), they have gone up on other sites.

If you look at the trailer for Captain America for example, It's pretty much a treatment in trailer form. Ok so this kid is going to be too weak for the army then he's going to shoot some super steroids, mentor gets killed...Oh so red skull is the bad guy....etc.

We (publicly) know nothing of this 3rd TF outside of a teaser trailer about the moon and some cool chicago footage and a new girl. Makes sense seeing has how they don't need to sell the property at this point, moreover it probably will be derivative of the previous ones. But my point is, all we know is speculation and that can only facilitate so much discussion from a casual fan ala message board.

What's a casual person going to pop on and say? "I hope this film doesn't suck like that last one?" great. "Here are my thoughts on what might happen.." thanks. "I really want to see so and so in this one..."

No one casual having anything to contribute is the issue. Especially when it's seasoned posters yelling back and forth. Come real trailer, and that will no doubt change.

One need only look to the GL boards before 4 mins of footage was released to see this theory in action.

Traditionally, the SHH TF forums got trolled a LOT, but fan and detractor alike.

Scoops tended to get posted elsewhere a lot quicker where people actually appreciated said info.

And as mentioned before, the trailer issue.

I'll still post a detailed synopsis from the novelization once I get it, but yeah, the other sites are the ones most TF fans frequent for scoops/discussion these days.

Does anyone remember the Negatron/Optimist days before it was a joke for a webcomic?

Plus i think people are a bit more hesitant this time out with the faults ROTF had despite looking so awesome in the run up.

You didn't know that? The date shows when they rated the trailers that will be showing soon.
