Yeah, that is ridiculously well done. They don't look out of place, and you could honestly think those were actual statues built to scale there in the city.

well that's not so bad, however that film though good seems to be deceptively impressive due to concept/execution. a sign of a good filmmaker, just like his bat films.

Well if folding cities(and what ever other cgi(can't remember) happened in that film) can get inception the best cgi award, hopefully TF's city battles will have some impressive urban effects, competition is stiff this year however(unlike last)

Man, there is no way Im seeing this in 3D. Saw Thor in 3D and couldnt tell what was going on in some of the early action scenes. I know Bay said he would keep the shots longer but still, its hard enough to tell whos fighting who in these flicks.

Too bad. I was looking forward to him being in it. Would think after TF 1 and that cool aerial scene with Starscream they would bring in a Jet autobot for sure, man that would have been sick. Looking forward to Mirage but wish they added at least one fan fav autobot for the last one. Maybe Im being greedy but I really wanted to see either Grimlock, Cliffjumper, Silverbolt, Air Raid, Prowl, Ultra Magnus or Hot Rod make it into one of these flicks.

Well really we do have fan favourites coming in this time such as Shockwave, Lazerbeak, Mirage, Wheeljack and the possibility of some others. Personally I'm looking forward to seeing Bumblebee, Mirage, Sideswipe and Wheeljack, roaming around and fighting Cons just like in the 80's cartoon That inner fanboy is starting to get excited.

One thing bay does is push visuals in his films. Not just the photography but the cg in the tf and bay films in general just always seems to be visually grabbing, composited well within his high contrast photography and real looking.

I assume the same (admittedly)renown people have for the cgi in these films will be applied to the 3D. I hate 3D but I'm curious to see what bay does with it.


I've also now watched thor and still no TF trailer, I've yet to see any of this on the big screen, maybe it's for the best.

I could'nt help reading the plot!

Anyways in my honest opinion, this is a really sweet story and definately trumps that of ROTF and even the first movie. Hopefully it will be executed properly.

And that twist! Man, that is unexpected and I think alot of people are gonna be pleasently surpised this July!

I'm not gonna read it but 2 things come to mind.

1. if only this was coming out as the second movie, the buzz would have been though the roof on the image of shock wave alone. If the movie had delivered than not only would it have gotten that 1million short of a record opening, it would have grossed alot more too. (if that superbowl ad had dropped in 2008...)

2. this one will answer a lot of questions about movie making conditions and importance or non importance of scripts.

I do however know about the mega twist and I think it allows for great character friction and moral questioning something i've never seen amongst the robots before except maybe in beast machines.

This is very true, and we are very lucky to have these additions. With this franchise and X men I can get pissed and start *****ing when my fav characters dont show up haha. Gotta stop the whining on my part and enjoy what we got. Def looking forward to Sideswipe/Mirage kicking ass. Very stoked for this film. More so then anything else this summer.
