Well, in a realistic take, that wouldn't outweigh being a world class spy. It's nice to be able to shrink down, but if you don't even know what you're looking for... you come back with no useful information. Now it's true, they could 'Home Alone' it, where their homemade ingenuity outsmarts professional killers, and many movies do that, but I'm not a big fan of that.
so only a spy knows what they are looking for???? This is the dumbest thing I have heard of.
Cap: "Antman we need you to sneak into the base and collect data for us."
Antman: "On it"
2 hours later Antman comes out
Antman:"What was I supposed to look for?"
Sure a scientist whose job is to observe and interpret things would never make a good spy
Giant Man is a great tank, no doubt. But with Thor and Hulk around... is that what we need *more* of? And then you add the fact that the audience associates a giant man with comedies and bad CGI, it's not a very promising thing to introduce in the middle of a team up movie.
So what you are saying is that it would be groundbreaking and new to have a giant superhero....im sure we could all think of something that was looked at as silly that when taken seriously became a huge hit.
Which reminds me, again, regardless of how great it may be to have him around if were putting together a video game roster, if we're putting together a movie story, he's unnecessary redundant weight, weight that can make the movie suck as fast as Venom did to SM3.
He needs his own movie so he and Jan can be in Avengers 2, imho.
