^If you look at the first sentence closer, he does say ANY of the movies......take a look, LOL.
I took it as never in any of the Nolan movies, cause that's all we're talking about.

But I don't know, I'm not him. I'm sure he'll come in and tell us what he meant.:cwink:

Joker, you wanna clear this up, bro?

Milkman is right, I was referring to all the movies. But I was wrong. I completely forgot about the little smoke bomb he uses to exit Axis Chemicals in Batman '89.

When ever I think of Batman using smoke bombs, I think of him using them on his enemies.

Ahhhh, I thought you just meant the Nolan movies, as the '89 smoke bomb scene is pretty obvious. I guess you just forgot?

Maybe you need to brush up on some B89 action.:cwink:

There's a misunderstanding here, and it's probably my fault.

I'm disagreeing with you as far as "Like A Dog" is concerned. It's my favorite superhero theme.

The theme that played in the 4 occasions that I mentioned before (the 1st being, as you said, the scene where he owns the fake Batmen and the Scarecrow gang) is actually the "hero theme" that Zimmer intended for Batman. It is, of course, not the "Like A Dog" theme.
It played immediately after BB ended (its end credits start with it) and then appeared in TDK 4 times. So, you got your wish, that theme is Batman's theme. That theme is also the one I find "not really heroic".

Hope I cleared it out. In essence, I disagree with you 100%!:woot:

I agree with you 100%... so long as the track "Like a Dog Chasing Cars" is the one I think it is. Is it the one used near the end when he's saving all the hostages and taking out the SWAT team? If so that is what I also think should have been declared as his theme. The other one that Zimmer pointed out isn't really all that great of a music track, there's not much to it and while I think it does work well mixed together in the film, I just can't agree that it's a good Batman theme song.

I don't even have the excuse of being rusty on the movie. I watched it last month :o

O.K gotcha.

But it was to my understanding that the BB theme (the theme that plays at the end of Batman Begins) is not Batman's hero theme, according to Zimmer. According to Zimmer, in BB, Batman hadn't earned a full theme, as he had just become Batman. In TDK scene, Like A Dog Chasing Cars, according to Zimmer; that is Batman's theme, because he is now a full fledged hero. All this is according to Zimmer. Bottomline is the BB theme, though not as great as Elfmans Batman theme, is still a pretty cool Batman theme. Leaugues above Like A Dog Chasing Cars.

Like A Dog Chasing Cars is the song I play constantly. That and I Am The Batman. When I listen to the music, I replay Alfred's Burma line in my head and I get chills each time. Harvey Two-Face is another spectacular song. Heroic, chivalrous, and tragic all in one song. At times it even sounds like a knight's theme. Hell, I love the entire ****ing soundtrack.

You are correct about everything except the theme Zimmer was talking about. In an interview, he did say that he hadn't earned that theme yet and that you could hear hints of it in the end credits of BB.

And, indeed, he took it and expanded/built on it. That is why "Like A Dog" can be heard only twice in TDK (and its "heroic" part only once, when he owns the SWAT team) and the theme I'm talking about is heard whenever he does something Batman-ish/cool/heroic.

Hell, I love the entire ****ing soundtrack.

It's my favorite superhero soundtrack. Like BB, it tells a story on its own. It's only better than BB because it took the previous themes and built on them. It's a masterpiece imo. Like the Inception soundtrack.

"Harvey Two-Face" is probably the best cue on the album for me. Gotta love James Newton Howard.

1. I like it if Nolan did it the same way in No Man's Land Batman takes his mask off but Gordon turns away to reject it.

2. Batmobile to be a car not a tank.

3. Batcave & Wayne Manor please they're a character like Gotham.

4. Gordon having an affair with Sarah Essen (Y1)

5. Alfred using like in comics and Caine used a shot gun in Get Carter could a home page to that.

6. Bruce meeting Selina at a party hosted by WE at Wayne Manor.

7. Batman meeting Catwoman at the jewellery shop or a bank

8. Reference to Arkham Asylum being built.

9. Penguin running for Mayor and be crime boss or opening Iceberg Lounge

10. The Riddler trying find "Who is Batman?" bring him to justice by sendiong him riddles

WHAT?

It already existed in BB.

After what in BB Arkham could be reopened by Wayne and Alfred using a shotgun like in comics I love to see that if story required that. Micheal Caine used a shotgun in Get Carter could be a homepage to that.
