And Iron Man 2, in which he plays Tony Stark's tattooed Russian nemesis, Ivan, is possibly the biggest movie yet in Rourke's new career. For Rourke this means going to Russia, drinking vodka and visiting jails to study prison tattoos and find his character's tics. "I decided to do half my role in Russian," he beams, "and that's hard because the Russian language doesn't roll off the English-speaking tongue very easily. I spent three hours a day with a teacher, and after two weeks I know four sentences! Let me see, it's sort of like... 'Yezzamee menya... Yezzamee manya obott... Er, nemaboootty menya...'"

I hate Mickey Rourke so much, if there was ever a person undeserving of second chances it's him. I love how people say the Wrestler was his comeback movie, that's funny cause they also said that after The Rainmaker, and after Sin City, why did he not get work on decent movies for years in between and after those, cause he's a capital *****e. I just hope he doesn't ruin my enjoyment of this movie, after he can go back to being a nobody for 5 years until the next comeback movie for him, if there is another one.

Oh Noez! He talked some **** about Spider-Man. I like Spider-Man a lot, not to mention other comics/comic films, doesn't mean I'm going to instantly start crying and talking **** like a godawful fanboy because an actor expresses that it's not really his thing.

If anyone saw the behind the scenes stuff from the Oscars with some of the nominees hanging out, you can see RDJ literally ask Rourke to be in Iron Man 2. I have a feeling that if that never happened and he just happened to recieve the script or offer just from Favreau he might not have even done this film.

Personally I'm happy that he's in the sequel and think it's great that he's treating it like a real role instead of some 'dumb comic film' or 'summer action fest' by actually taking the time to learn some Russian.
