She looked amazing last night.
Mickey Rourke just did a marketing photo shoot. It's the first time I saw him in full costume. I can't wait for the images to be released.about 7 hours ago from Tweetie
And Iron Man 2, in which he plays Tony Stark's tattooed Russian nemesis, Ivan, is possibly the biggest movie yet in Rourke's new career. For Rourke this means going to Russia, drinking vodka and visiting jails to study prison tattoos and find his character's tics. "I decided to do half my role in Russian," he beams, "and that's hard because the Russian language doesn't roll off the English-speaking tongue very easily. I spent three hours a day with a teacher, and after two weeks I know four sentences! Let me see, it's sort of like... 'Yezzamee menya... Yezzamee manya obott... Er, nemaboootty menya...'"
This goes on for quite some time. "It means," he says, finally, "If someone kills me, don't wake me up, because I'd rather be dead than live in your world."
But the land of blockbuster movies is not somewhere Rourke plans to stay long. "I'm not gonna rush out and see the next Batman, I'm not big on formula movies. I don't like all that Spider-Man ****."
THE GUARDIAN [UK] Interview: Mickey Rourke
Relevant Iron Man 2 information...

Just stay sober, read your lines and shut your pie hole, Mickey. Then, you can focus whatever few brain cells that are still active on making Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man 2 or whatever you consider to be non-s***.
Terminator Salvation: The movie that proved to fanboys that Warner Brothers cares about you as much as any other company
Man, there's some Mickey hating going on. Sure he's been in some bad movies, but so has Downey (US Marshals, Shaggy Dogg, Gothika). Is he a *****e in real life? I don't know. I've never met the man. But the movies he has done that were quality (Sin City, Domino, the Wrestler)were good. Have faith that he'll do a good job otherwise Favreau wouldn't have cast him.

I honestly don't mind him bad-mouthing the Spider-Man movies. There's a lot of ammo there to use. But Roarke is just saying they're not the kind of movies he goes for usually. At least that's my interpretation.
LMAO at fanboys getting all precious over Rourke not liking comic book movies, and trying to badmouth him because of it.
Same thing happened with Heath Ledger. When he said he wasn't a comic book movie fan, people were like "HE DOESN'T DESERVE TO PLAY THE JOKER WAAAAAAAA!!!" I don't care if an actor is a diehard comic lover or not. All I care about is they take their role seriously, and considering the work Rourke is putting into this one, I'd say he is.
