sweet, so either Portugal or France vs Italy

That would be sweet if Norman came back in the movies like the comics, swearing revenge for his son. Of course they could easily explain it like they did in the comics...his Goblin formula regenerated his body. Although, the whole thing where he killed a look-alike to fake his funeral would be harder to digest.

Although him saying something along the lines of "..you had to go and die just to spite me...you were always a disappointment to us." like he did in the comics a while standing over harrys grave would really make him seem heartless.

I was pleasantly suprised to have the Dafoe cameo in Spidey 2. IMO his performance in Spider-Man 1 was one of the best parts of the movie. It is always good to have a great villian to kick start a movie series with a bang and Dafoe definitely delivered. I agree with everyone on the board in saying that it Norman appears it will most likely be in a dream sequence. Whenever Norman on screen.

I'd like to see him back as Dafoe was criminally underused in the first movie and his haunting in the second was classic.

Also, a scene or two maybe at the beginning where he urges Harry and chastizes him after his failure from the trailer (which I hope ends with him capturing Peter and trailing him from behind the glider and burning his suit off a la ASM #40, nevermind if that was Norman).

We'll see though.

What if Bruce will be only Quentin Beck, not Mysterio yet, that means no MYSTERIO as the 4th villain BUT what if Norman appears in Harry's allucination and there we have the 4th villain...

I dont think we need many scenes of dafoe, maby just one or two.

I think that at the end of the film that peter ask a business friend of Harry's who is going to control the assets of the Osborns where is it all going to go, and the business man says an alias name and sys his a close friend of the Osborns and you see the camera move fast like going over seas and you see Europe and you see the back of a man standing and looking out a large window with a cell phone. Man: Has the assets been transferred, Business man: Yes Sir. it has been finalized. The Man has an open shirt and his rubbing a big scar on his chest that is healed up. Man: How did he look? Business man: Who sir?

[The Camera pans up to Norman Osborn's face]

Norman Osborn: My Son.

Business Man: Like an Osborn,[Pause] A True Champion.

Norman Osborn: Yes, [Pause] He's going to pay for this. Spider-man going to pay for this.

Business Man: Yes sir.

[Norman hangs up the phone and looks out the window and it's raining]The camera pans back and the screen goes black] End

No Norman returning from the dead... god no, it hurts thinking about it. I'll admit, it would make for great tension between the hero and villain. Norman would be extra pissed at Peter, blaming him for the death of his son. But the story is too farfetched and laughable at parts. Come on, he drinks a formula that lets him survive being impaled through the stomach? It doesn't matter how much you can heal, he would've bled to death. Somehow he finds and kills a look alike and replaces his own body with it. Doesn't matter how close the guy resembled you, your OWN SON, family, friends would be able to tell the difference. I could mock the Europe part too but I don't feel like getting into it. We had a Goblin as the main villain in SM1, Harry will probably be the main villain turned good guy in SM3, that's enough goblin for me. Explore Spiderman's wide variety of villains.

We really don't need and explanation. THey don't need to explain they could just end it with you seeing Norman alive and done, no explantion needed, who cares HES FRAKIN ALIVE!

I think it'd be great to see him return as a hallucination or something, but not returning from the dead.

why does Norman survive and Harry die when they both took the same formula?

The whole point of showing him at the end still alive would be to set him up for the 4th. They would have to explain it then. So :down

That'd be perfect.

Great question. I have the issue Harry dies and he wasn't even impaled by anything. Your sig's from Ultimate, right?

No they don't need to explain it and he doesnt even need to be in the FOurth if at all he has to be in the shadows.

Just cause he is alive doesnt meen he has to fight or kill spidey or be in the next movie.

Norman was live for so many years behidn the scnes but he was in the shadows the whole time.

I dont want him to be a villain in the fourth if so behind the scnes........

Last time i checked Norman wasn't invulnerable. The guy is 6 feet under and thats where he should stay. I have no problems with him returning in a dream/hallucination sequence though.

I'm rooting for the French because i don't like the Portuguese actors and Zidane is a god among insects in my opnion.

Back to the Dafoe/Goblin discussion.;)

while we're at it,why not throw in the Clone Saga?

Anyone else want to see Norman alive at the end of movie possibly last scne or credit scene Norman standing above Harry's grave or soemthing.

I want him to come back and be shocked as hell!

Keep him dead. Dreams and Hallucinations are good for him, but keep him dead.

I'm not saying that he comes back as a villain in any moreof the movies, im just saying that it should be revealed that he is alive...with no explanation leaving us to speculate for Eons!

I would love to see him in a few hallucination scene's, but thats it. Dafoe is great though.

yup.. some new hallucination scenes with Dafoe is all we need. Bringing him back from the dead is certianly far fetched. So i think a few scenes or even a dream sequence could be very cool

The formula Harry took somehow poisoned his blood stream and killed him. So apparently it was a little different when harry took it.
