I had an idea for a Phoenix inspired teaser poster, but I'm nowhere NEAR talented enough to make it. I was wondering if you, Laz, might be able to come up with something seeing as your work with Phoenix is so fantastic. Here it is, I hope it makes sense:
It is completely black except for at the bottom there is a body (Jean) crouched down in the fetile position (but on her knees). We may not even see her face. The poster is black, but her body is glowing somewhat and there is steam coming off of her (sort of like water was just dumped over something really hot). On the bottom it could say "she will rise" or something.

I don't know if that makes any sense, but if anyone would be willing to try I would be greatly appreciative!

I've finally found some time to get some manips in! hehe. I did this one rather quickly because I was inspired to incorporate some Scott/Jean Ideas into imagery and needed to get it all out. I like the way this one came out. hope you enjoy (and sorry, I can't get rid of Jean, she's my muse for this movie.lol)

this is why i am happy with the black leather and colored piping.

I think the Blue and Gold Cyke looks pretty cool in that pic.

I don't think it would work as well in a cinematic environment, I think the black leather is more suited but he definetely looks cool in that pic.

Yeah,..I agree with the whole environment thing as well...It looks rather out of place, even with the darkened colors...It looks good on its own though..

I like the concept; however I think the eyeball needs to be displaced a bit away from the claw. It looks like the claw is ripping out the retina and blood is seeping from the eye. It's making my skin shudder. :(
