Okay, here's my sketch colored in. I left the background blank because I couldn't find or make anything that looked good behind them.
Comments as always are appreciated.

Pros:

-I like how you plot them in different poses- it's good to make them as individual as possible
-Its simplicity  Simplicity is ultraimportant to me, in comics

Cons:
-You have to work more on bodies. There are important features you haven't higlighted...in some parts they look deformed.
-Colour: Ok, so I'm a colour maniac. Colour in comics nowadays is... disgusting to watch. So from my POV, I think you should work a bit more- and a mini-tip: don't depend much on the dodge tool: try to vary on shadow colour, you know what I mean?

Keep on drawing-

Thank you much.:yay:
After seeing how detailed some artist go with their comics, it's just become too much to me the majority of the time. Plus the New X-Men comic I feel looks better with simplicity in their art.

Can you be a bit more specific as to where you're talking about?

How would you say to work on it? Like the color combo's or what?

Dodge tool? What's that/What's it do? I don't use Photoshop, so it's probly something different in my program.
Keep on drawing-
Yeah, I'm just starting to draw X-Related stuff again, I been working on Fairytale designs.

dodge tool is basically the tool to make things lighter while burn tool makes things darker

Fabulous! Is that a photo manipped to look like a drawing, or is it actually a drawing?

Majik, I put a few red circles around areas I think could be improved. I think the color is fine - there are just a couple body parts you could improve on, especially hands.

Ok, I see some of what you're referring to, but only 4 areas I'm not understanding.
From left to right, X-23's right forearm, Hellion's hand and neck/chin, and Elixir's hand.

P.S. Just a little fun thing I did. 3 of the New X-Men's outfits are inspired by 3 of the more popular X-Men.

helions face lookslike it is leaning more to one side i think

I think what Tori means is the definition of the arms and the angle of the hands maybe?
Another thing - you might want to widen the waist areas of your dudes cuz their waists are super thin and it makes it seem as though they have wide hips. The shading on Elixir's top can be changed - looks like he has boobs.
Overall - nice concept.

Third card was supposed to be Sabertooth but that'll be next. For now, here's Ultimate Gambit.

Let me know what you think :)

Nice job. I'm not sure what's up with his hand though.

I'm not sure who all those characters are (haven't read the comics in a while, lol), but I'll try and answer your questions:

X23, I'm assuming that's the girl on the far left. Her forearm is too wide in comparison to the rest of her arm.

Hellion's hand is too flat,so you can't really tell if you're looking at the front or back of his hand (except for the positioning of the thumb) and the angle of his fingers makes them look like they're all severely broken/dislocated. His jaw is also lop-sided.

Is Elixir the red-head? There's no definition on her wrist, which looks weird since her hand is obviously at a sharp angle on her hip.

I don't see it.

Ok, I see what you mean about both the hand and the neck, but you're just looking at it wrong. His head is angled a bit, so that might be why you think it's lop-sided. And the positioning of his thumb makes it clear that you see the back of his hand.

No, Elixir is the gold guy in blue; next to the green guy.

Oh, okay. Yeah, the angle isn't right on Elixir's hand. the angle of his hand is almost opposite the angle of his body.

Hope that helps. :yay:

Again, I disagree about the hand. It's like this pic but with the hand straight up as opposed to it being more down.

I see what you're trying to do. Maybe you could try darkening the little finger and that side of his hand, maybe shrink the little and ring fingers a little so they aren't all about the same length. You can see how her thumb is highlighted more in that picture than the rest of her hand, because it's projecting toward the camera.

If you don't want my suggestions, just let me know. I thought you were looking for some help, but it's okay if you don't.

Hello everybody :D

Ive been looking at these X-Cards you guys have been doing and damn, brilliant work. Wish I had the time to manip again...

Oh and Flavio, that X4 trailer in your sig is too cool for words ;)
