Ive been looking at these X-Cards you guys have been doing and damn, brilliant work. Wish I had the time to manip again...

Can you be a bit more specific as to where you're talking about?

An example is what Toril said, about the hands. Even though you can't see them, the knuckles are there. Draw them with the hand base and THEN the fingers.

How would you say to work on it? Like the color combo's or what?

Dodge tool? What's that/What's it do? I don't use Photoshop, so it's probly something different in my program.

Oh ok, sorry- got confused. Surely it remind me that technique... anyways what I mean is: you have to give more importance to colour- it's not something you use to fill in or make the pic pretty. It gives the whole concept a mood. You did fine on giving every character their respective colour suits, but you have to do more... make clear where the light comes from, for example.
Btw, add a background! Give it a try.

I'll try working on that. I usually don't go drawing every single thing out on y drawings. I'm a bit simple when it comes to that.

I've honestly tried. I've tried making my own Danger Room and X-Mansion front, didn't look good; Tried looking for good pics of them, couldn't find any. I just prefer a white background until I can find something that can work.

Where are they? I'd like to see more.

I've only have a few colored in, and they might not all be what people expect, but it's from a mixture of fairytales and nursery rhymes and it's just how I'm hoping to make them all work together. Some are a bit Disney inspired because that's what I grew up on, but I think a lot of my own design is in them.

I would still liek to see it(x-maip competition) change into a general superhero manips comp in the fan art section.....justice league would be perfect comp right now what with all the rumours (in my opinion at least)

^ I think the problem with the manips competition is that its just run its course now. Theres only so much you can do with so little material to make something new and exciting.
