Personally the first one has too many FX for my taste but I thought someone might appreciate it more than I do. I actually prefer the one above. Less is more, in my opinion. Enjoy.

You're asking what things need work?

Well, I LOVE the background. The pose is great, too, and I love the little phoenix at her hands. As for improvements, though, you might want to make her neck a little thinner and put some detail on the collar of her uniform. You might also want to make her rear end a little smaller. It sticks out a little too far for someone so thin. Lastly, the hair is kind of blurry beyond her scalp.

GREAT points! Thanks Toril. Something to work on. I was trying to make the hair look as though it was blending into the fire. Oddly enough, this manip worked a lot better when I used a picture of me! I've had trouble finding a good Famke head, that one makes her neck look kind of broken. But yeah, I was kind of proud of the little Phoenix, so I'm glad you liked that!

You just have to keep trying lol, your backgrounds look fine to me. I just like to cut out individual pieces and see how they fit together...

Try just coloring in a little bit of her neck to make it look like part of the uniform, angling it to put her neck in a more natural position.

this proves that the movie could have had a more artistic style, I mean, the shots and all of that.
