It was a crap performance from United, That wasn't a pen and I think Gerrard could've been cautioned.

he could have been... but he went in studs up from the angle i saw...

The pen is debatable as there was no leg contact (For which the pen was given i think) BUT there was a push in the back...

United should have capitalised better on the extra man advantage... but Reina had a great game today he was the main reason for it staying 1-0

The stats show where our problems lies again:
Possession

* Man Utd 58%
* Liverpool 42%

Attempts on target

* Man Utd 10
* Liverpool 5

We are not clinical enough in killing games off.

where are you getting those stats from!? I was on bbc before and they claimed we had more shots on and off target than Man U

Chelsea beat Ipswich 7-0 and Leicester are currently 2-2 with City and giving them a hell of a game.

I hope we beat Arsenal in the replay and then we can have a nice West Yorkshire Derby...

They were from the BBC, remember Evans hit the post and Reina made 5 direct shot stops in the space of about 25 seconds.

Sky have us with 9 on target and you with 4 on target, other than Aurelio's free kick and the header straight TK I can't recall our keeper saving anything.

I laughed my ass off when Gerrard was sent off. Berbatov didn't deserve the plenty, but later on Giggs got knocked down and received nothing for it, so the plenty made up for that in my eyes.

Liverpool did good enough job in defense to keep Man United away, wanted more goals.

Dont be mad at me because your team stinks.

*leaves thread before troll war starts*

You are completely pathetic. For the record I'm not a Liverpool supporter, I just can't stand people who are quick to slate their team when they get a draw, while are also quick to lead the moron train when they manage to pull off a win against a rival. Fans like you are the ones who ruin great sports.

And as for calling me a troll, I bet you don't even know what one is, just throwing it in because you've heard it on a fanboy message board to look cool. Probably the same way you got into supporting your team.

I bet you couldn't even live a day supporting a team who would be just grateful to be playing in a league as prestigious as the Premiership. You're an insect among other posters here such as kit1982, TheEnglishman and Iceman.

For the record, he does this in every sports thread. He only supports the big teams.

had to work today so only watching the match now( was getting updates throughout)

the penalty was debatable, i to think contact was made though soft, i can possibly say momentum carried him over rather than the foul. though ever player will do the same, though i'll be the first to admit if it went against us i'd be pissed

the red card was a dead cert sorry but you can't do that and expect to get off with it.

sad to say though we did win i'd rather we had won with more energy not that i wanted to "tank" liverpool (though that is always fun ;) ) but we barely shifted out of third gear and a team with more drive could still tear us apart

on a linked note, can i just say thank **** for this forum, there are supporters here i can have a bit of banter and slag each other off in a fun way yet still have an intelligent debate no matter what happens

the amount of crap i heard coming home on the radio disgusted, people doing nothing but moaning and complaining, hell people were clamering for carrick to be banned as the red card was his fault, apparently his shouldn't have stuck his leg in gerrards way

haven't found a concrete source yet but talksport is claiming that itv has received numerous complaints over Jim Beglin's bias commentary in todays game

having watched it, he did seem to swing more to the LP side of things on all arguments but thats to be expected. itv should not employ ex players as commentators, half time pundits ok but not full commentators

Cracking game between Real and Villarreal, ended up 4-2 to Madrid, Ronaldo scored his 4th hat-trick of the season, he has now scored 64 goals in 62 games for Real Madrid.

He was shocking, complete opposite of Alan Smith on the United vs Arsenal game just before Christmas.

I could barerly hear the damn commentating, stupid pub. I think I was the only United follower there.

so we are laughing off diving now??? thought we were condemning it right....or does he get a pass cause he is english???

I seem to remember Drogba said somethign similar (without all the laughing about it) and got destroyed by everyone
Thats pretty ****, the diving ****...:argh: We would have won. Seriously though thats not a laughing matter and to make it worse he was joking with the ref about it as well...:cmad:

I actually respect Walcott for being upfront about it.
