FIFA 11 simulates a 1-1 draw between Arsenal and Barcelona. They recently predicted Man United's 2-1 victory over Manchester City. They have a good track record of at least predicting the outcomes if not the scoreline.

Gattuso needs a good ****ing hiding for his general demeanour; the ****'s got too much 'Little man syndrome' and needs a slap to sort it out.

Doesn't matter, we will go out after the two legs. We have absolutley no chance of winning this or going through.

I think teams like Arsenal always have a chance against anyone. Need a big slice of luck though, maybe 3 or 4 sending offs & a Madrid supporting ref. :woot: Even last year's injury ravaged inferior team which was light years worse than Barcelona on the day, managed to be up in the tie early in the 2nd leg. At this level where even the lesser team has some real talent, I think circumstance plays as big a part as one team being better than the other.

Ain't going to happen. They bottled the Newcastle result and they'll surely bottle this somewhere in the tie. They always seem to do against the bigger teams more so. I don't count the Chelsea result as an argument against this theory, as Chelsea haven't been at all great recently.

Not spectacularly interesting to you folk's I know, but I just wanted to share my 6-a-side team with you all! That's me on the bottom right.

Last night we won 3 matches in a row, 5-2, 2-1, and then 4-0, so a good night overall! :woot:

Also, kinda hoping that Arsenal atleast put up a good fight against Barca. Should be a good game, I have a feeling Barca will play more defensively this time around, draw Arsenal out into open space. Just a hunch though.

a new person? (or changed username?)

welcome new person, who do you support?

I have kinda been posting here on and off for a little while. I didn't even realize we had a sports section until a few months ago.

Also, (and your not going to like this) I support Manchester United. But also, I have a lot of affection for Fulham. There like my torrid love affair team.

This picture made me laugh:

I had a feeling about Spurs. I mean, Robinho and Ibrahimovich were flops at their last clubs and were sold for a reason.

good luck to arsenal tonight, vp and the rest hope you get that win!

Nice one! How long's your team been going? I'v kinda gone into retirement now. :csad:

lol great pic.

Yeah, I said same thing to my mate who supports Spurs. Robinho, Ibrahimovich nothing to worry about. Especially against English opposition.

So you're a goalie mate?

Since November, on and off. Our league has just finished it's first run (the league we play is pretty poorly organised) and we came 4th, but only through goal difference, we got the same amount of points as 3rd. We had 8 wins, 3 losses, and 1 draw. :yay:

So you're a goalie mate?

Nah, I wear the knee-pads because of my crappy knee joints (blame my father for that one) and I wear gloves because it makes me look cool, in a Nani-esque way. At least, that's what I tell myself.

To be honest, we have no permanent goalkeeper, which is a pain in the backside. We all have to pitch in and play a half each at one time or another, rotational style. The blonde guy in the bottom middle saved a penalty last night!

Can't complain with that record mate!

Yeah, echoed. I'll back all the English teams in Europe, & then Barcelona once they're all out!

I'm ready to eat my words but looking at the team sheets, think Arsenal might do ok tonight. Certainly I think the 4-2-3-1 formation gives them the best possible chance against this great team. Good luck!!

In case anyone needs it, the teams are below:

Arsenal: Szczesny, Eboue, Koscielny, Djourou, Clichy, Song, Wilshere, Walcott, Fabregas, Nasri, van Persie. Subs: Almunia, Rosicky, Denilson, Squillaci, Arshavin, Gibbs, Bendtner.

Song & Wilshere in the middle of the park. Van Persie up front alone with Walcott, Fabregas & Nasri behind.

Barcelona: Valdes, Dani Alves, Pique, Abidal, Maxwell, Xavi, Busquets, Iniesta, Pedro, Messi, Villa. Subs: Pinto, Bojan, Mascherano, Keita, Milito, Afellay, Adriano Correia.

Xavi, Busquets & Iniesta across the centre, Pedro, Messi & Villa up front. Messi shown as the central striker here.

Arsenal played very well so far. One moment of ballwatching & they're one down :csad:

They need to stop making stupid mistakes. Barca are making them look very pedestrian here.

Been a very good game. Arsenal losing a bit of quality since conceding that goal. Lets get to half time & come out firing again.

He was offside... i thought
