I can vouch that this game plays EXTREMELY well. I was lucky enough to attend E3 this year and got to play the London demo. This game is incredibly bad ass and highly immersive! The controls kind of disappear in your hands and you just feel like you're on a crazy thrill ride.
The visuals are nothing short of gorgeous. There were points where I honestly thought it was just a cinematic but it would always turn out that I was supposed to be playing. I think the only downside is, to an extent, the arsenal isn't your typical run of the mill type weapons. The thermite gun, if you try to use it like a machine gun, is a cover based weapon. People were complaining about it being inaccurate but that's not the purpose that it serves.
When people realized that, they were having a blast. The demo unfortunately didn't show anything new but it served it's purpose. You practically are watering at the mouth for more once The Order ripples onto the screen signifying the demo was complete.
Also, the folks at Ready At Dawn are such a great group of people. They're really passionate about this product and want it to be the best it possibly can be. They're not cutting corners with this and listening to some of the stories, it was awesome to hear the games development.
I think this game is going to deliver something truly memorable. They're keeping it close to the chest because they're all about player experience. I commend that approach because all too often publishers like to share the holy **** moments to get hype generated around their product.
I think they're being strategic with this game and saving the best for when we have our hands on the controller. All in all, I say keep your eyes on this title.
