I think we've pretty much discussed everything on here concerning this film so I apologize if this has been asked already, but for those who loved the film, hated it or thought it was ok,was there one moment or scene that you thought was one of the best you've seen? Not only in the film, but the franchise and even comic book movies in general?
I bring this up because I just got done watching the movie now and no matter how many times I've seen it,from the moment when Peter smacks MJ,to the birth of Venom is probably one of the greatest moments in comic book/fantasy film history. That part still gives me goosebumps to this day. The scene is dark and it's perfect, and it's what the entire movie should've been. That part is probably my favorite of the entire series(although part 2's ending and final swing is up there).
What would be that moment for you? Even if you hated the film, there must have been one scene/moment you enjoyed?

One of the greatest in comicbook/fantasy film history? Im gonna have to say no. Ill admit, I loved that part but its not even the greatest part of the film. I feel the alley fight between harry and peter was great but the final battle was the greatest fight in all 3 movies in my opinion. Ive seen it a billion times and i still love it

I did love the part after the Jazz club, where Peter goes outside. It's raining, and you can hear the church bells in the distance. You just know what happens next.

I concur. That was probably the most exciting part for me.

The Battle Royal was fantastic and so was all the battles and church scene. The church scene was so dark and creepy, but that is an extremley good thing.

What I mean by greatest is that because Venom is so very popular(granted their are those who don't like him,but he is the most well known and popular marvel villain ever)and to finally see that moment play out on screen is just incredible. One of the true high points in cinema for us fanboys.:sym:

Really? Heck I barely survived the long boring gap between the begining title sequence and the ending credit sequence!

Perfect scene? Not in any Marvel movie!:hoboj:

I liked the Chruch scene.

i like the bell tower scene, but it aint my favorite. my favorite Spidey related scene was the Crane. i just think its awesome, his entrance with his theme...wow! lol my favorite Peter scene(s) is when M.J. breaks up with him and when Peter forgives Sandman...truely awesome i think!

I do think that that scene of him sitting a top the bell tower in the black suit is definitely an iconic image. Just like the upside down kiss from the original.

^true, very true. it was even the first (unreleased) Teaser poster

There are no perfect scenes in this film...

you name one, i could point a flaw in it.

Fights were bad, story was badly implemented, it just alll came off worse than the alien saga symbiote story in tas...

when cartoons are telling better stories than multimillion pound films, then you know something's wrong...

I will however say the first teaser trailer is pretty much spot on perfect and all those lil snippets were a joy to watch, you actually thought they were going to completely nail the story but alas...

Not necassarily a perfect moment, but my favourite in Spider-man 3 was the moment when it looks like the end of Spider-man and then Harry shows up and the two team up. I loved watching them fighting together and it seemed like a classic comic book moment for me. I just wish they didn't have that stupid news reporter with the bad British accent.

The alley scene.
seriously made the whole movie for me.

The montage everyone hates. Probably the funniest bit of any Marvel movie. I dont know if they otherwise got any dramatic scene perfectly.

The Sandman birth scene in my opinion is the perfect scene. The special effects, the music, the emotion, to me it is the greatest scene in the movie.

"Good ridance" my favorite line, the hatred comign through Spidey in that scene showed the effect of the symbiote

I loved that scene after he gets Brock fired and he's out there hitting on women and trying to act cool. Funniest thing I've seen in a while and very entertaining! Sure,it wasn't as dark as I wanted, but I loved it still. It's the dance scene in the jazz club that was a bit too over the top.

Also, the "go get some milk"/being a dick to Connors and overall shenanigans with the symbiote were hilarious to me. It wasnt a very smart way to handle the symbiote probably, it seemed more like how you might act if your gf breaking up with you liberated you of all your fears because you lost the only thing you cared about and thats not really what they were supposed to be doing there, and of course there should have been clips spliced into that montage of him throwing criminals around and engaging in unnecessary brutality. None the less it was a perfect montage for what it was.

The birth of Sandman scene is absolute perfection. It's the best part of the entire movie, in my opinion. It's also one of my favorite scenes of the trilogy, despite the fact that Spider-Man 3 is my least favorite movie.

Another scene (I think) that was really well-done is the Sandman vs. Symbiote Spidey fight in the subway/sewer area. The motives behind that fight may be flawed (the whole Uncle Ben's death plotline thing), but I think that the scene was executed very well.

Oh, and I LOVE the fight between Peter and Harry in the mansion. It's my favorite fight of the movie. Even though the audience annoyed me with their inappropriate behavior at the midnight show, the end of that fight was the ONE thing they applauded for.

Indeed...the scene has a great flair to it. It's one of my favorite scenes of the series thus far.
