There's a ton of great stuff on here. With the advancements in cell phone cameras, I think it would be interesting to see some photos shot on phones. If you look up "iphoneography" you will get some amazing shots just from iPhones.

Nice & Crisp!

SaF, Your very welcome! Ya do good work, IMO! These last three looks like they are stuffed (In how real and sharp they are)!

That's what I think! They are coming very good, but no where the quality, or the control of what a dSLR can have, IMO. Granted, there is very talented shots with it, but heavy modified. Plus, there is a Cell Phone Camera thread around here somewhere....which might be more suited. =)

Happier thoughts! I'm doing a my first swimshoot tomorrow. =) Dr. Lee, amazing shot of the bird!

Thank you, I'm slightly irritated the window pane i was taking the picture through reflected the Yoda Force FX lightsaber i have on the windowsill......had thought i was missing the reflection

Haha! I'm not even talking about instagram pictures (although I have some awesome shots using it). But yes, my canon can definitely produce better images.

Bought my flash today. 529e. Looking forward to taking it on a test run soon.

Dr Lee Nice! I haven't done that yet.

Alistair Thanks again and goodluck on your "swimshoot" :)

Thank you :) Panorama shot is quite easy, all you need is a tripod and a nice location.

This is my second attempt at panorama

This is my first attempt at taking pictures of the stars

Yep! I need a better tripod due to good ol' weight, and a cheapie. I can try putting weight down I suppose. I rather have a ball head as of now, tho. At any rate, nice shots! Keep them up! The only thing the stars don't do it for me, tho. Try doing star trails, and maybe you'll do better than me. =P

Without further ado, these are just a few shots that I took. We ended up shoot at night due to the whole photoshoot was a train wreck due to other complications and lost sunlight. She wanted to do a few, so we did despite they are not what I was looking forward too. =/ Getting bite alive. BTW, these are quick edits and I can not stress enough this was a total wreck. I would have wanted another light, but I didn't have another able body to do this.

I'm using my Nikon Speedlight speed light 910. I'm finding it's giving me headaches anytime I use it. TTL is the worse for it and even when I direct the flash to bounce off walls, it still causes a headache, really annoying when I'm trying to play around.

Lunar,

What are ya trying to do? Are you in a small room? I'm confused as to what your doing, and what your trying to accomplish.

I was in a large enough room, just taking picture for my nephews birthday. I was shooting on manual 1/16 of flash power. I was bouncing the light of the walls. The pictures turned out well, but not without a headache. Everyone else was fine. I'm guessing I have sensitive eyes to flash or something.

I'm doing a studio day course today. Hope no headaches :(

do you wear glasses Lunar?

thalidomide,

Love the last one!

Either way, here is my fireworks. Pretty crappie this year and I was in a horrible spot as a lot of light pollution.

Here's one I took last night @ the St. Louis, Missouri fair last night; (One of the best 4th of July destinations in the US!)

Yeah, I wear them.

First time doing studio work. Want to do some shots next week for a photography comp.

The model never turned up so I had to take pictures of another guy who turned up for the day course and the teacher.

Practiced low and high key lighting.
