Me being a fan of movie music/scores I always loved the PA theme, and hearing that whistling style notes over the WB logo at the opening of the film/films always made me smile.

Isn't Key and Peele doing a new movie?

If so, it needs to be a quasi-reboot sequel. Bring back the original actors as Mahoney, Harris, Jones, Hooks and Callahan (and Proctor too) but have the focus be on the new crop of recruits, two of whom should be the children of Hightower and Tackleberry.

Interesting idea. Who should play Hightower's kid? Shaq? (I know he's an awful actor, but how many black actors are there that can fill THOSE shoes?)

I've been hearing years that at one point a reboot/restart was considered with Ben Stiller, Will Ferrell and Jonah Hill. At this point I don't care who does it I just want it done.

^ I think Harris would walk all over Mauser. Mauser never had the stern venomous quality Harris had. The Harris/Mahoney feud was also much better than the Mauser/Mahoney one.

I said this a decade ago when this thread started:

I hated 2 and 3 because it had no Harris, so I was glad that Harris came back for 4.

And I said this two years ago but I still think a quasi sequel works best bring back Mahoney, Jones, Harris, Hooks, Callahan and Procter but also sprinkle in some new folks, including the children of Hightower and Tackleberry.

I guess I’m one of the few who thinks Mauser/Mahoney we’re funnier than Harris/Mahoney. I’d love to see a reboot.
