First movie is a bonafide adult comedy classic in my mind, sadly tainted by all the watered-down, pi$$ poor kid-friendly sequels. I still to this day maintain that Lassard's pondium slideshow is genius and has me in creases every time.

Actually, 2 isn't too bad - it introduced Zed, Mauser (c'mon, who doesn't think the shower scene with the epoxy resin and the resulting wig and hairy hands gags are funny?) and Proctor and still had a bit of adult tone in the humour.

The first two are definitely the best and with every subsequent one being slightly to greatly worse as the years went by.

A remake that did not try to go family friendly and kept the adult humor could go over well but they can't just rehash the same tropes over again.

am I the only one who remembers the tv series based on the movies?


I dug it cause it was like PA:the next generation and having Winslow on as a character was great and they did have past PA characters show up like Mauser, and Hightower who was like Chief of Police or Commissioner during it's run.
