The Prestige- First off, let me start off by saying that this movie is confusing as hell. The entire time I was watching this film, I was mostly thinking to myself "WTF?!" But in truth, I ABSOLUTELY loved this flick. It has action, suspense, romance, and just about everything. I had a hard time piecing together some of the things going on in the film, but the final twist of the movie will solve it all for you, as it did with me. Now my jaw just about dropped when I saw some of these magic tricks, but that final twist was like

even though most people (including myself) saw it coming. The performances in this film were beyond glorious, especially Hugh "Wolverine" Jackman's as the obsessive Robert Angier, and Christian "Batman" Bale as the tricky Alfred Borden. Michael "Alfred" Caine was fantastic as Cutter, the man who builds Angier and Borden's equipment and machines for their marvelous magic tricks. Of course, the film features great performances from the likes of Andy Serkis, Scarlett Johannson, David Bowie, Rebecca Hall, and Piper Perabo. The film was excellentry directed by Christopher Nolan and was written fantastically by Chris and his brother Johnathon.
In the end, "The Prestige" manages to be a VERY decent popcorn flick, and just a good flick over all. If you like magic and the WONDERFUL cast, you will definetly enjoy the 2 hour, 15 minute film. My final two words to describe it are "Emotionally Amazing". -10/10
