I've got some issues with Thundercracker, what with him being a repaint of the much cooler G1 Starscream....But those pics are badass.

I almost picked up the TRU exclusive Soundwave the other day but it was £25 so I put it back. Hopefully someone will buy it me for X-Mas. *crosses fingers*

Thanks. I'm really digging these TFs more and more by the day. What're the issues though?? Just because he's a repaint?? I think he kicks major ass. Honestly outta the two I like him more. I know, I know, stone me if you will but he is just so fresh lookin'. Those silver and red stripes kick ass and overall he has needs less of a touch up than G1 Starscream IMO. Hopefully once I'm able to get a solid week off from work I can set a day aside to work on the painting I wanna do on some of these. Plus I need to order some decals from reprolabels.com just so I have'em in hand once I finish the painting.

Thanks, I tried to do something a little different than having them just stand around like I usually do in my pics. I'll keep my eyes out bro. Honestly, I was gonna put him up for grabs if I didn't like him but unfortunately I really like him alot. He's badass.

I'm seriously questioning on picking up the "extra's" in the movie line. I've never liked the repaints, even as a kid I hated it and I didn't "grow to accept it." I may pick up Arcee just because she's original and seems logical for an upcoming TF sequel....but the rest? ...Eh.

Arcee is great. I, myself, just picked up a recon barricade today. i'm usually not very fond of repaints, especially of a toy i already have...but when i actually saw this one in the store, and saw how cool his colors looked, i decided to get it anyway. And I still really want a Thundercracker...despite the fact i have a Starscream.

I see what you mean, and unfortunately aside from the G1-G2 stuff I never stuck with TFs as a kid. Never really got into Beast Wars or any of the stuff that followed, just didn;t seem the same I guess.

And as far as those go I was never a stickler over the repaints or reuse of molds for the figs like say Ironhide and Ratchet or the some of the Seekers like Starscream and Skywarp. Nowadays I looks at it in a different view and have become somewhat of a stickler due to paint apps and articulation but if it looks cool to me I'll give it a shot. Like I said, I had some kinda mixed feelings on the Thundercracker I just got but its a cool fig and IMO (which counts since its my collection) its great, has a great paint scheme and paint apps and I dig it.

Thundercracker is a remold, new head and all.

Anyway time for more of my collection! Alternators (and MP Prime, he really fits more as a leader for them scale wise) this time. You'll see why they are cool.

Arcee is great. I told you the Recon Barricade looked cool. I could care less if he is a repaint, the paint scheme is nice and "sells" it well in my eyes.

I just noticed that his Prime doesn't have the smokey battle damaged look.

If you look again, you'll also notice his gun is blue and all the parts that are chrome on yours are just silver paint on his. and shorter smokestacks.

Yeah, but mine has those smaller smokestacks like his. I'm thinking the guy that traded it to me swapped on the ones from his Prime like that.
