What would you think if the Batman reboot not only started off with another take on Batman's orgin but if it also incorporated the 52 pre Joker Red Hood Gang as not necessarily the main antagonists but still a prominate threat?

Personally, I'd prefer they start off with an experienced Batman that has already encountered the Joker numberous times and things like the Killing Joke and A Death in the Family have already taken place and when the do cross paths again, it isn't til after several sequels. However,if the Joker does show up early on and the next movie has to focus on Batman's earliest days as a vigilante crime fighter,I guess the Red Hood and his gang could be fitted in but preferably not as the central villain.

While I think the studio will ultimately go with the Riddler as the main baddie, I wouldn't surprised to see them set things up for the Joker down the road if indeed this will be a (unnecessary) orgin film.

I really want to see this. I want an accelerated Batman origin with a Joker origin. I want Black Mask and Deathstroke as the main baddies, but also set the stage for Robin, Joker and a shared universe with MoS.

If they were to go that route, I think Tony Zucco could be introduced as the Red Hood's right hand man. BTW,I think we will see Black Mask appear sometime and Deathstroke would be a dream come true.

.....We do not need anymore Batman origin stories. To incorporate a character/group is no good reason to go back to the start. The red hood gang, Zucco, and all these other guys can just pop up later in Batman's career. Having an inexperienced Batman is not a good story just because he's inexperienced.

I agree that we don't need another Batman orgin story but I wouldn't be surprised if they went that route.I say this because Man of Steel seems to be DC's cinematic shared universe's starting point. Idealisticly, I'd like his orgin touched on in brief flashbacks mirroring Dick Grayson's orgin and/or Hugo Strange researching news reports and case studies on both Batman and Bruce Wayne but if we do get another full on orgin movie then I hope it's both a fresh take as well as a faithful one.
