What would you think if the Batman reboot not only started off with another take on Batman's orgin but if it also incorporated the 52 pre Joker Red Hood Gang as not necessarily the main antagonists but still a prominate threat?
Personally, I'd prefer they start off with an experienced Batman that has already encountered the Joker numberous times and things like the Killing Joke and A Death in the Family have already taken place and when the do cross paths again, it isn't til after several sequels. However,if the Joker does show up early on and the next movie has to focus on Batman's earliest days as a vigilante crime fighter,I guess the Red Hood and his gang could be fitted in but preferably not as the central villain.
While I think the studio will ultimately go with the Riddler as the main baddie, I wouldn't surprised to see them set things up for the Joker down the road if indeed this will be a (unnecessary) orgin film.
