Ooooooooh man! Something just jumped to the top of my "most wanted in 2012" list. Was that blonde chick Ashley from RE4?

The trailer makes it seem you can finish the story in singleplayer mode with no AI-Partners. Thank god!

Either Ashley or Sherry? Makes sense considering the President that it'd be Ashley though.

That trailer looks amazing. I do hope Claire returns, even more so than Jill. Its been far too long since she's been playable and she's the one character that connects Leon and Chris. Would love to see her interacting with them again

Well, RE for the 3DS I read, takes place after RE4 and before RE5 I think. This game could probably have time jumps as well. 2 different characters in 2 different continents. I wonder how this will play out.

When does this take place is it before or after Resident Evil 5? Who is the new dude? AHASHAHSFASFHASLFASL. So many questions.

I would assume after? I'm calling it now.. "new dude" is Hunk... Without mask. I mean he said "I'm better off getting paid as a Merc" or something along those lines.

OOOOOOH. That makes a good point. It could be, but I was reading some stuff about how it was actually prior to 4 and 5, which seems dumb, but whatever. We'll probably find out for sure soon.

Someone on Tumblr made a point what if the other man is Alex Wesker? He does have similar combat moves to Wesker.

That would actually be really interesting. But he sounds just way too young IMO. Here's how he sounds in Operation Raccoon City.

Yeah, RE5 made me not care about the series... the trailer for 6 makes me a fan again. Also.. Two RE threads confuses me..

I also swear I heard Nolan North's voice as the new guy too? Maybe not.. I think North's just used in SO many games that my ears tend to hear him.. Even when he's not there.

Eh, I doubt you NEED to play 5... If you do however make sure you have a friend ready to be your partnet.. Sheva is as dumb as an AI rock otherwise.
