Opinions have a fine line of being biased and not biased. I see it all the time everywhere. **** happens.

Yeah, if an opinion is a well edcuated informated one, then it's a worthy one. So technically an opinion can be full of crap, if it's made baselessly and impulsively with nothing to back it up.

Loved the game

Now bare in mind that I played (RE2 RE3 RE:CV RE4 and RE5) watched a friend beat RE1 and REmake.

So here's my review for what its worth

Leon's campaign is creepy, at least in the first couple of chapters. Had the best atmosphere imho. The story was great. And of course it has zombies :D (9/10)

Chris: Capcom obviously didnt want to focus on Chris in this game thus the campaign lacks a descent story. But I love the fact we get to see the BSAA in action. Ironically the creepiest section in the game imo is when we had to find three keys in Chris's chapter 4. (8/10)

Jake: Loved the fact Sherry is back and what I loved even more was that she has to partner up with Wesker's son. William Birkin (her father) worked with Wesker. Jake and Sherry's relationship was awesome. Jake's melee attacks were great. (8.5/10)

Fourth campaign: This secret unlockable campaign is probably my favorite. Wont spoil anything even though most of you probably know about it. It has the best puzzles in the game and heavy on stealth, action, and more. (9.5/10)

Mercs. To me Mercs was flawless even though Im aweful at it but its just pure fun. And having fun is why started playing video games (10/10)

AI: I remember a reviewer once said that great games can stand on single player alone. Thankfully the AI in this game isnt annoying and extremely helpful (specially if you upgrade it) Not once have the AI annoyed me. They dont die or run out of ammo and of course they dont abuse your herbs/healthspray. (9/10)

The controls were great my only issue was the camera but didnt really bother me that much. The camera is exactly like it was in RE5. Aiming improved massively. Love the quickshot mechanic. Melee improved (not that overpowered if youre playing on higher difficulty). (8.5/10)

Overall 9/10 (not an average)

I know my English is far from perfect so please excuse any grammar mistakes.

I agree with all of this

My brother and I have finished Leon's campaign and have only gotten through the first chapter of Chris' campaign, and we love it so far! Once you get used to the new controls the game is a blast. Not sure how I would feel about single player but playing co-op has been a ton of fun.

I have a theory that most game reviewers are either really bad at some games, or are just way too jaded to give the game an unbiased review. Sure, the game doesn't return RE to it's survival horror roots, but that ship sailed a long time ago.

I suppose I may be a bit biased since I love co-op games and enjoyed RE5, but my brother (hardcore RE fan) loves it even though he misses true survival horror. The last few bosses in Leon's campaign were great, especially the final one where you had to think a little to finish it. Anyone who's skipping the game or waiting for a price drop based on the reviews is missing out.

it's cause capcom showed they can still do that in the 3DS version called revelations that stared Jill. that's the issue for them. and remember it wasn't all of them. well it was a select few that liked it and gave fare reviews or made it their game of the day on their site / show review. But any way, yeah it's all due to that happening before 6 came out.

Yeah, but there's no need to give a good game a negative review just because it's not the game an individual wanted or expected. My brother played and enjoyed Revelations on 3DS but he doesn't let that experience influence his opinion on RE6 as a good game itself. He'd kill for a full survival horror RE game on home consoles, but he wouldn't say RE6 sucks because it wasn't enough like Revelations.

Yeah, but it'll come with the territory it's the fact that it's in a franchise and a sequel that it'll hard for some certain people not to compair it. gi gt , and EPD.TV/ ROTR said they didn't want to compare it to the past games like RE4 and they did avoid it.

Which show's what kind and reviewers they are. But for some others since capcom has proven they still some what know how to go back to it,( it's roots) but repeatedly chooses not to, bug's some people reviewer or gamer. And It just bugged them so much that they know the people at capcom that do know what the fans want and yet kinda of bate them(fan's) with it.

It's kind what made this situation happen. and the fact that at least one of them ( their recent games can be done and polished ) which was very recent and they chose to put more time and polish to that compared to this one.

Does this game have alternate timelines?

Why, at the start of the story, where the game opens, Helena is hurt and Ada isn't there. Then, later, Helena runs right on through and there are diffrent enemies in the area??

Did Leon not close his loop?

It's just a tutorial where they tease the future of the story.

Why are people ignoring the good reviews?

Yeah. But then you get to that point and it doesn't happen at all the same. That doesn't make sense. At all. Why wasnt Helena hurt? What kind of story sets something up, then flashes back, then whe. You get there it happens differently.

Also, why were they going to the office building and how the hell did Simmons get there?

Because one is a non-canon tutorial, hence why it is only playable in single player, and the other is in the actual game.

As to the office building, I don't know what you mean... They crashed into it, it wasn't deliberate.

Hmm. So it had nothing to with Umbrella? And Simmons and Ada just happened to be there?

I thought they had been trying to get to the skyscrapers?

Man, the second half of Leon's campaign, specifically Chapter 4 and 5, made no sense.

First of all, I would use spoiler tags since you're talking about the ending of the campaign.

Second of all
I don't get what's so complicated... Leon and Helena were just trying to escape the city, their helicopter crashed, the landed at that building. Simmons shows up, Leon says 'He must have followed us here' and they fight him, not wanting to let him survive or get away. Ada shows up to help them, then Simmons and Ada are fighting.

Now the only suspicious part is when Simmons dies, and his blood fills that logo and you see it's the Umbrella symbol. That is clearly the mystery of that campaign. Capcom have already said that all the questions left unanswered, are answered in Ada's campaign and since we know there is some history between Simmons and Ada and there is clearly more going on there, you're deliberately not being given all the facts.

*cough*DLC*cough*

Or *cough* *cough* the 4th unlockable campaign that's already in the game? *cough cough*

October 2 – Reviews on the Run – Full Show

Victor and Scott begin our week-long celebration of the SEGA Dreamcast, buckle up for SpeedX 3D, take photos with the iPro Lens, enter The Jungle of The Lost Town, and the biohazard continues in Resident Evil 6.

Scott and Vic Battled the Biohazards in Resident Evil 6. Loads of content and varied gameplay. But it lacks focus and it looses it's stride.

They did mention that leon's campaign played like a tradional Res game(to an extent) and so did Ada won
g's and Jakes .

Ada's being the best of the 3

chris's though is more of the same from Res 5, done a little bit better. But still the same. Oh the recent 3d's game that stars Jill was mentioned by Vic at the end in the former video up top in comparison to 6.

Vic's score is a 7.5 /10 & Scott's score is a 7.5 /10

It still made the game that day. if you see the end of the full show in the wrapup segment.

And no one's really put up their ignoring them.

I put up at least most of the ones that had good reviews. The problem is some certain people listen to certain reviews even though their not the best people to listen for some reason. Some ones more then others. (most likely cause they grew up on it) some people are stuck on certain things, due to stuff like that and it's hard for them to change .
.

the bad reviews seem to be the ones that are the most vocal right now. it's sad, but that's the case.

and as Shane from GT said here

Invisible Walls 227: Resident Evil Rumble

And I'm quoting here,
if you noticed that there are reviews shows/ news/review article's sites that seem better to you, you should be listening to those one's that have better Explained them selves with better reasoning in their reviews more often then the ones that have bad reasoning in them.

Those are the ones you should be listening to and dump the ones that have stupid reasoning in there reviews.

It's kinda why Gamespot isn't listened to as much anymore and X-play is loosing viewer ship/ followers too . The latter trying to hard to be snarky and not fully explain them selves well enough.

I stopped listening to gamestop since the kane and lynch incident.

Shane said it best in invisible walls, every negative aspect in RE6 are also found in AAA games like gears and uncharted. The melee in uncharted was poopoo yet reviewers ignored it. And people should stop comparing the game to older RE games and start reviewing it for what it is.

The melee in RE6 while a little over powered is actually fun to use. I had a blast bashing zombie heads on desks.

I'm seeing people call this the worst game of the year. People these days and their hyperboles.

Sort of on topic - Roger Craig Smith, the voice of Chris Redfield in this generation's RE games debuted on Ultimate Spider-Man this week as the voice of none other than Captain America.

Was watching it thinking "I swear I recognize this voice...". He's a pretty fitting voice for ol' Cap too.

EDIT: Also, yes, I am a huge nerd that watches Spider-Man cartoons.

your on super hero hype man. it's fine and most of the cool people and that includes the reviewers that gave fair/ good reviews of RE6 still do this them selves From GI to EPD.tv/ ROTR. heck their still into comic's the better wrtten ones. but that a topic for another time. Chris and cap seem fitting. I guess Leon's DD. of which captain America said he looks up to.

my only complaint about this game is that maybe its TOO intense, I can understand how some people would prefer if it was more suspenseful, with less zombies but more tension instead of a hundred zombies flying at you at all times, but it only bugs me once in a while, im very happy with how this game turned out so far (i've only beaten Leons campaign) but its my favorite resident evil except for maybe RE2. A big thing for me is the online co-op and how smoothly it works, thats a huge bonus for me, i've been playing the game online with a friend for every mission
