Yeah talk about freakin ridiculous! So far I have one five star with Leon and that's it.

Have you or anyone else beaten it on professional?

I know someone who has, the laser gun sounds sexy. He said you could run around leisurely kicking every villager to death because it has a stun option, hahah. I think I stopped playing the game on Pro around the time you save Ashley and have to run to the garbage disposal pit thing. Not because it was too hard, just because I played through the main story 3 times, and played through Assignment Ada once, then Seperate Ways twice in just about 2 weeks. Ugh. RE4 overdose.

Yeah I hear that. If I would have known that beating the game twice didn't work to obtain the hand gun I wouldn't have wasted my time with it. But it was fun running through the game with the Tommy Gun. Made it a hell of a lot easier, cut the time in half it took me to beat it.

Now I want to beat Pro mode but like you said, ughh, a little overdose. But I hadn't played it in a year so not too bad. Give myself a few days before I start it up again.

I played about 10 mins into Pro mode, it doesn't seem that much harder. Is there any difference really?

I dunno, not really. I was breezing through it. The Regenerators are harder because they have a thing on their backs, but that's the extent of difficulties I've had. I'm playing with the Mafia costume though. So Ashley is in the armor, and that's a load off your mind. So far I think it's just that they can take more hits, and if not that I at least know they do more damage.

I love the game, but after my Chicago Typewriter/Infinite Launcher run, which was some of the most fun I've ever had, I just felt like I didn't need to do anymore.

Yeah that's kind of where I am at right now.

This is not as bad as it seems :cwink:

When I was 16 years old and playing through REmake for the first time, she scared the crap out of me! :cmad:

Well I was a bit older when that game came out so I was OK by then....Nemesis was the one that freaked me out.......back when your character was so stiff to move the main bad guy starts to belt it at you!!

:ninja:

I scared myself now.

I'm 27 and this is the first time I'm going through the game...it makes me jump a bit.:csad::cmad:

Ugh...RE4 is peachy and fun right up until you get to the island. Those damn regenerators and iron maidens really take some mental preparation. I'm right on that part of the Wii version now and they creep me out everytime.

It's not that hard. The key is to run around and get to every little area to obtain time capsules and keep your health up. Keep moving for the kills because you want to get as many kills in a row as you can.

Oh, the red gas cans are your absolute best friend. Whenever you see one, make use of them.

Yeah I did it, pretty tuff but its semi worth it.

When you get the Hand Cannon its free. 0. But the upgrades to make it unstoppable is what cost alot of money. I love what the merchant says when you buy it. " Huk huk huk! What do you need that for hunting a elephant!?!?

hehe

Lets see. Im 15 now, remake came out in 2002 so I was 10 when I got the game and almost 11 when I beat it. No lie. Then I beat Zero, but the 2 people thing, sort of turned me off so it took me longer to beat it.

Nemesis was the only Resident Evil i never beat that I played. I was playing with no memory card and I went to kill a spider and I shot a barrel with a shot gun and died. I almost cried. I was 8 back then so you know I was pretty sad about wasting 10 hours plus on nothing.

I beat the Claire disk of part 2 I almost beat leons but I lost his disk so there went that.

Why did I talk about my whole life in RE? Hehe

Yeah, not that easy. I think the game increases the difficulty level if you get stars on the levels. For example if you haven't played it it's set at a certain hardness. If you then get four stars it gets a little harder.

I have no proof but that's what it feels like.

Costs about close to 700,000 pesetas to get all the handcannon upgrades. And it's more powerful than the Chicago Typewriter. Sounds awesome, but not worth it. :ninja:

Well I easily have that much after beating the game twice so that's not a big deal. But getting it, what a ****ing pain in the ass!

Yeah, I think I'm upwards of 2 million after selling all the ammo/extra healing mixtures I pick up along the way having no use for, and can't forget about all the treasures.

So I got curious. Would getting five stars on all levels be the same as scoring 60,000+?

Also here is the damn thing, ok now I really want it after seeing this.

Yeah, it looks sexy but blah, it is 60,000 for 5 stars, and to get that with everyone not once, but 4 times? Nay nay. Too much.

I personally think the Regenerators were the top enemies in RE4. I bet they could make the top five of all RE games but I haven't beaten any of the other ones. I would say The Hunters, The Lickers, the Crimson heads, the regenerators, and, of course zombies.
