Still playing Remake and just beat the Shark part. I think this is the scariest of the RE games and teh scariest part is the camera angles. They really did a good job with those here

I need to get back to playing REMake.:csad:

I'm still no where near the shark tank...I'm still fighting Zombies and Zombie Dogs.

ha ha, losers, havent even beat REmake...n00bs! ;)

I've beaten REMAke so many times I basically remember the entire game by heart.

Where are you exactly?

I personally think the Regenerators were the top enemies in RE4. I bet they could make the top five of all RE games but I haven't beaten any of the other ones. I would say The Hunters, The Lickers, the Crimson heads, the regenerators, and, of course zombies.

The Regenerators scared the **** out of me when I first encountered them. I don't care what anyone says, their breathing just creeps me out as it sounds like a perverted crackhead.

Me-::Shoots one of them in the face with the Striker thinking it died easily:: YEAH! TAKE THAT YOU ****ER!

::Regenerators face forms back again::

Me- ****. :csad:

Nemesis, Hunters, Lickers, Crimson Heads, and Regenerators are the scariest creatures of the Resident Evil saga.

Respect I beat this game years ago

Ha ha yeah me too...the sound those bastards make too is creepy.

Nemesis will still have the biggest scare factor for me.

For me I guess it was the Hunters. Not scary but the panic that runs through your veins in your first playthrough is legendary.

Yes the original RE1 and the hunters were scary. I think it was the fact that the graphics were not as good which added to the grit of the game. Plus I still feel the original RE1 was the hardest game for me.

I never got to play the Original partly because in those days my country ACTUALLY enforced the ban on certain types of games (Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 for example) so I never got it. When the REmake came out I considered buying a Gamecube but decided to go with the PS2 so never played it...I did watch a friend complete Zero though.

RE3 could have been real scary but my buddies had to go spoil it for me like: "Hey Shakes, theres this part where you're surrounded by Zombies but don't worry 'cause Nemesis will come and save you!". Made it a point to never ask them about any games I play right there.

Spoilers are the worst when you really want to play a game all to yourself. I have played every RE game out there I think...short of those crappy phone games and the like. I will admit the issue with Nemesis is if you don't run he will not chase you most times.

So he was like a dog...don't run or he will chase you. I find now that I can easily walk around the **** lol

The crappy phone games? Aren't those just available in Japan? How about Dead Aim? No one seems to talk about it.

No you can get them here in the UK.

Because it has little or no point in the overall story for RE.

I agree. Nemesis will always be the number one scare factor creature for me.

The fact that he was so damn relentless in his pursuit of Jill made it even more creepy. He could show up at any place, anytime, and anywhere without the slightest hint of his arrival other than the music change and him charging at you.

Here's a funny story about my first RE3 experience.

I was playing the game and I got to the RPD station. As I'm playing through loading up weapons, picking up healing items, and picking up other key items that will help a player get further into the game I'm thinking it'll be a peaceful setting with no surprises.

Keep in mind I have the volume pretty high and I hear a glass break. I'm thinking my mom dropped a glass or a plate of some sort, so I go to check on her to see if she's alright. She didn't drop anything so I go back to my room to continue playing the game. As I'm walking through all I remember his hearing a loud crash and Nemesis crashes through the window with the rocket launcher.

I screamed and yelled 'HOLY ****ING ****!" while dropping my controller at the same time. So what do I do? I take control of Jill and get the hell out of dodge!

I had the same kind of experience. I ran from the Nemesis into the police station and once inside I stopped for a few minutes to catch my breath. I picked the controller up and then moved Jill forward. Then bang on the door...Jill jumps back and I freeze...

So scary!!! :woot:

Yes Nemesis was damn scary. Fist time you couldnt escape an enemy by simply leaving the room

Yeah the git keep crashing through walls.....windows anythign to get to you....pain in Jills ass.

I never played three so I can't say anything about Nemesis, but the Regenerators were scary as hell to me. If you shoot them to the ground they're even faster then when they walk!!! And there seizure fast walk also scared the crap out of me. Bastards took a LOT of damage before finally going down.

The breathing that they do is creept too. Yes indeed I think they are scary maybe even in the top five scary things of the games.

Who would top them, besides Nem, Trevor, and the crimson zombies? Not counting bosses I can only think of the crimson zombies, but I bet there are a lot more.

Well, were you using that infrared scope to snipe the parasites on their body?

When you had that it worked, but before that they took around twelve shotgun blasts or so. Four mines or grenades can work too. I prefer the mine strategy, because you can hit them again when they're bending backwards in pain.

I thought the Leech Zombies from 0 were pretty annoying until I realized they were weak to fire. Before that, even killing them could kill you as well when they exploded. Those things scared me as they just appeared out of nowhere

It always cracked me up when you tried to run from Nemesis by running through a door and a few seconds later you'd hear the door knob opening and Nemesis is in the room. I always found it funny that a Powerhouse freak like Nemesis had the decency to close the door after entering and not just power through the damn thing.
