I haven't played Zero, but I always assumed that's what happened to him.

Do what? Where did you that from? Billy just sort of disappeared after Zero, and there was never any mention of the character beforehand in RE1-3.

I'll say that the CG model looked better than the playable character model. I did love Claire's Code Veronica model and Dreamcast Steve Burnside looking like Leonardo DiCaprio always made me laugh.

Part of me thinks a rumor of it originated in Game Informer or Nintendo Power or something plus word of mouth. I think it all probably started because of his arm tattoo.

New Resident Evil CGI movie titled Resident Evil: Vendetta

Leon S. Kennedy will ride the Ducati's XDiavel.



Marza Animation Planet has announced the title of its work-in-progress Resident Evil CGI movie. Due out in 2017, the feature-length movie will be titled Resident Evil: Vendetta.


The company also announced a tie-in with Italian motorcycle manufacturer Ducati. In the “action-packed climax scenes” of the movie, Resident Evil franchise character Leon S. Kennedy will ride the Ducati’s newest series bike, the XDiavel.

He and Chris have definitely gotten my screen time than any other character at this point. Chris has been in 5 games, Leon in 3 games and now 3 CGI films.

These CGI movies are cool.... but like I would be happier if they just make animated movies based from RE1, then RE2 up to RE6 especially the live-action series isn't doing that.

Just curious, did anyone ever manager to kill the giant frog in the sewers in RE Zero that pops up every now and again?

I have died to it twice now. The 2nd time I had both characters and when it got hold of one I tried switching to the other character who for some reason just froze and wouldnt shoot it.

It doesn't come out every time you go into the sewage room (its the one you also find Billy in after you him in the water) but it has twice now and killed me twice.

You can kill it, it isn't invincible. Do you have the shotgun? That'll probably do it in pretty quick. But it's usually best to just run whenever it pops up.

I picked up RE6 for XBO. I had a BB gift card PLUS the Gamer's Club, so got it for 13 bucks. I really like it.

I never played 5 or 6, loved 4. I'll keep my eye out for 4 and 5.

Glad you're enjoying it. The hate it gets is mostly hyperbolic and comes from a small, but very, very, very vocal minority who don't like the direction the series has taken in the last decade. It has a lot of flaws that drag it down, but overall I loved the experiment it tried, and the combat system is extremely rewarding if you take the time to learn it on your own.

If you like it, you'll definitely like 4 and 5.

Oh I liked 6.. I get a LOT of **** for this.. But it's probabky my favorite modern RE.. Yes, even more than 4. I bought it again even tho I said I wouldn't buy these but I did buy this one. I'm gonna try that chronicological order that TB put up..

Ah so it can be killed, good, probably just my own stubbornness but I really want to kill it after it killed me a few times.

Didn't play 6 yet. Waiting for the remaster and to finish 0 and 1 remakes. But I highly recommend RE5. I played it as a co op with my brother and we both loved it.

So I've never really been into the Survival Horror aspect of Resident Evil, mostly because of bad memories as a child when the original games first released.

But I do understand 5 and 6 are supposed to be vastly different. So should I give it a go? For $13.99 at Best Buy, it seems cheap enough.
