Its a DLC, which is technically a side portion of a game. So she isn't a main character. Thats like calling Josh a lead character because of the RE5 dlc.

Mr. X and Nemesis probably survived and formed a Super Tyrant Kaiju.

Personally hoping for the return of leechman, due to the Outbreak connection and returning to Raccoon City.

Those are the main characters. While Wesker is the main villain of the series but wasn't actually a lead in any of those games. Ada, Carlos, Josh and Rose were either supporting or side characters. Someone should actually be playable for majority of the "main" game to be called a "main character".

Though unlike them, they weren't just featured in a DLC compare to Rose.
