well thats obviously what SEE YOU IN DECEMBER meant...literally
Would be nice ! And it would keep a mystery around Mr. J. (Darth vader lookalikeI like that the Joker has no origin. I hope he says something in the movie along the lines of: "If I'm going to have a past, I prefer multiple choice!"
First to the people complaining about the lens. LOL be quiet. People are freaking out. I bet it has something to do with him driving the Bat-Pod at high speeds. I love how some people are like: "Oh NOES, its teh 4ever Batmna!!"
Oh no, Batman Forever he had a cape? Just like in TDK and BB!!!! Oh no what will happen!!!!! I hope those saying these things will get my drift of sarcasm.
As I said eariler I know that the origin of the Joker will be nothing more then a physical one if there is one. I just know that Nolan understands this character, I just want it to be where he has always been insane, born insane and thats that. And it seems thats the route Nolan's taking.
As for physical deformity I don't mind seeing how that happens.
Wrong thread, dude. Hahahahaha. . .
It could be a quote taken out of context. If Nolan meant by the "first five minutes of the movie" it was really an "introduction" to the story. Something that isn't necessary for audiences to enjoy the film, can easily be edited out but kicks serious ass anyway. And this explains why William Fichtner got cast, he's a semi-recognizable face that will throw audiences off completely. All I'm saying is I've heard from more than one person that this IMAX thing was shot specifically for just that.
There are IMAX scenes in the film sprinkled throughout and the prologue was a way of showing how "amazing" they will look. A trailer for them specifically. That's not to say they'll show clips from all of them, but just give the general audience an idea of what they'll be like --- to boost opening weekend IMAX sales.
Furthermore everything that we know is aimed at this was labeled as "a pre-shoot"
We know it was shot in IMAX because of that one pic with the Joker behind the frosted glass.
And then on top of that it sounds a little too fan-boyish to say he'll have the lenses. Wouldn't we have heard about that already? Wouldn't it have been included in the article that outlined all the specs on his new suit?
This has nothing to do with a bruised ego, I'd love to have footage from the film included in the IMAX preview, I'd love for him to have the lenses.
But it just isn't lining up for me.

Jesus H. Macy Christ! Never heard a word of that, but that it one of the sweetest, most perfectly picturesque moments I've read in a while. Shame.lol i'm not talking about a minute of footage.
I'm talking about the report we heard a long time ago where the Joker shot the bat-pod to explode, batman flipped off and landed and joker gets a knife to Batman's neck. Right as he's about to cut his throat.....click. Gordon with a double barrel shotgun to the back of Joker's head. Joker's eyes roll up and he speaks, "Can ya give me a minute?"
lol
And that sounded amazing. But tis fake.

Has this been posted yet?
Apparently The Dark Knight is still filming in the Battersea Power Station after last weeks shocking explosion. Heres an update posted on SpoilerTV:
On the evening of Sunday 21st Oct a couple of dark blue SWAT vans with City of Gotham Police Dept. written on the sides were parked on the site, and a dark blue helicopter (didnt see any insignia) was flying low near the power station. This morning (Monday 22nd Oct) as I passed the area on the train again, the two SWAT vans were still in the same place, but a long white tent had now been erected nearby and there were quite a few cars on the site, so I guess some filming must have taken place at some point during the day as well.
Meanwhile, a German website Kino.de has a very good article about The Dark Knight. The site is in German, after I translate it with Yahoo heres what I got:
Source: http://www.batmovienews.com/tdk/batman-will-have-scary-white-lenses/
- Batman will go to Hongkong for some kind of gangster hunting, but the producer Chuck Roven wont tell us why Batman travels to Hongkong.
- The IMAX preview with I Am Legend is the first five minutes of the film.
- The whole thing is not Joker Begins, because we did not tell how the Joker became what he is, says director Christopher Nolan. During these five minutes it is shown how the joker of the small crook becomes the most-dreaded gangster of the city - it is more of a The Rise of the Joker
- Batmans new mask will have white lenses on the eyes when he turn on the Bat-sonar detection.
It's legit. All these foreign sites can't keep their mouths shut. Every website has already visited the TDK set, these guys are just blurting out the info before december. Chris Nolan said five minutes...so it is five minutes.
How do you figure?Exactly, and donk70.
What do you mean? No origin? Even a quick 5 minute one?I Am Legend - IMAX
Nah, no Jack in TDK![]()
Bat sonar direction sounds like Batman Forever to me.
