The Robin OYL Thread

Given the way this arc ended, it doesn't seem we'll know for a while. And the fact that we won't know for a while probably means that no one else will deal with her until Beechen ties up that loose end. And if Beechen, for whatever, reason doesn't ever get around to tying up that loose end, Batgirl will sink into obscurity as a villain.

And that would f***ing suck.

Or someone else will come along and retcon the **** out of it. Also, this new superhero kid, whats the ****ing point? And Killa Nilla is gangsta, like Danny Tanner gangsta.

I hope to God someone retcons the f*** out of it, because that is the single worst case of character development I have ever seen.

If the new kid's name turns out to be "Dodge," I'm going to lose my mind. He f***s over one hero (Batgirl) just to replace her with this piece of s***?

Killa Nilla was just hilarious.

The kid looks like he took *****e lessons from Griffin.

People like to give Marvel crap for hiring people from other mediums to write their comics rather than going for up-and-coming writers, but if people like Beechen and Bilson are who DC is going for, maybe they should rethink their approach.

But dont you know, if DC does it its cool, if Marvel does it its stupid. Ive also noticed that, meh, what can you do.

I haven't really noticed any praise for DC for going to other mediums, but regardless of where they found Beechen, they need to send him back.

JLU. I will never get the Bilson Demeo hiring though. NEVER.

I never read JLU, but I do know they had some Zauriel appearances, so Beechen may not be all bad, afterall. What do you mean by "Bilson Demeo hiring?"

The writing team on the new Flash. Danny Bilson and Paul or soemthing Demeo. They were writers on that old Flash tv show, theyre perfect!

I dont know, never watched. People seem to like it though. Point being that was like 10 years go, and it was Barry anyway.

One thing that bothered me is that, if you didn't know they were working in a car factory, it looks like they're on a spaceship or something. Even if I could have gotten past Griffen's *****ie-ness and the fact that Bart was even there, the environment would have taken me right out of the comic. It just felt wrong.

For real, their uniforms looked weird as hell.

theres nothing wrong with bilson or demeo, the flash issue was 'nt bad at all it was pretty darn good. sure it could've been better, but theres nothing to be *****ing and moaning about. and theres nothing wrong about a writercoming from a different medium. the talent just depends on rather the writer has it or not.

Way too much white. It was like a cult or something.

And Bilson and Demeo don't have it! You set 'em up, I knock 'em down!

Wow, first Superman, Wonder Woman and Batman, and now the Holy Trinity.

DC, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!?

All of that would take to long. I say they go with the cliche approach of having rocks fall on her....
