In the past two issues? Well, Robin cleared up that whole dirty bomb thing with Boomerrang Jr. (and sorta squared things up with him). Now he's investigating a string of kidnappings Gotham's new wannabe hero "Dodge" ****s things up for Robin at every turn.

Robin has actually been pretty darn tootin' good since the One Year Later, in my opinion. I suppose I'd be singing a different tune if I gave two craps about Batgirl, but I don't, and I'm having fun with this book. t:

No, there are just going to be characters that I don't give a good god damn about, great character or good writing aside. I could care less about a Batgirl or a Batwoman. Period. t:

Batwoman has nothing to do with Batgirl, and no one with any sense would give a damn about Batwoman, so I don't know where that came from.

But, beyond just ruining a great character, Beechen did it in a way that smacked of ****ing horrible writing. Like, worse-than-fan-fic writing, it was so full of plot holes.

As I said, I didn't care about Batgirl and when I read that story it didn't affect me like it did a fan of Batgirl. I was more into the fact that Tim was getting his ass HANDED to him.

The Hype didn't crack in half, it was pretty unanimous over how crappy it was. You're just a little piece that chipped off that had no taste.

Well in the hierarchy of the DC writing staff its pretty obvious that Beechen no offense to him is a peon. Johns wanted Batgirl for Titans East, so Beechen wrote the story in Robin. Now Johns has his evil Batgirl for Titans East and fanboys everywhere will call it the second coming of christ.

Didio's equally to blame for Batgirl's character assassination, if not more. He's said that he thought Batgirl got away from her "core," which to him apparently means that she had to do a 180 and be irredeemably evil for no reason.
