Captain Marvel The Rotten Tomatoes/Critic's Reaction Thread

So you are criticizing a movie you haven't even seen? that's not criticizing, that's just trolling.
No I'm basing my judgement on what I've seen from trailers and reviews. Why subject myself to that if I don't have to. I never even judged the film itself. I know you probably think not wanting to see a film as "review bombing" but I don't care to see it from what I've seen from the trailers. That's what I'm a critic of, the thing specifically made to encourage people to come and see a film, not doing its job well imo.

That's like looking at pictures of restaurant menu and then pretending to be a critic of its food. Not wanting to see a film is not 'review bombing', that's being not interested in it, pretending to criticize it when you haven't actually seen it, is exactly that.

No it's like having someone tell me the food is bad/not to my tastes and deciding not to go to that establishment based on their recommendation.

I miss the old TheMarySue...

I get The Mary Sue is geared to women, but pretending like women critics haven't give the movie negative reviews is doing a disservice to their audience. In fact it's completely unethical.

The mary sue site also started the whole ''Wonder Woman Shaves her armpit hair'' thing.

The obvious spots would be where Ant-Man and Doctor Strange came out.

Marvel only started doing three films a year in 2017 so that was never going to happen. I've made the argument in another thread that CM coming out now makes the most sense financially. Phase 2 was about 80% sequels to Phase one, so Phase 3 is exactly the right time for the character to appear.

A lot of attractive ladies in women's magazines.....
