Maybe, maybe not. I remember GI Joe:Retaliation fail 25% on opening day.Very difficult to move the needle now with so many reviews in. Low 80's is likely where it is going to stay.

Whoah! I’ll post a longer review on the other thread, but....whoah. This movie deserves way better reviews, on the level of WW.
I don’t mind WW comparisons. It’s only natural, but in 5-10 years hopefully there is enough woman led films where these films won’t instantly be compared to each other rather than amongst the entire genre in general.
CM will almost certainly make more money than WW, but won’t match the critical acclaim or cultural impact. Might be unfair, but that’s the landscape and microscope it’s under. DC is going to have an even bigger hurdle to try and topple when they announce/actually go through with making a film with a titular black superhero.

Wonder Woman had a headstart on CM in that she had a TV during the 70s that made her a bit of a cultural icon but I do think this film will help CM move up in the public consciousness among superheroes. You know, I'm not sure about cultural impact. I'd bet we'll see a lot of little girls and not so little girls dressed as Captain Marvel from now on. That she is gonna be in that indie movie that could, Avengers: Endgame, doesn't hurt, either.
Ghostbusters 2016 was a box office disaster because of flaws in the movie itself.looks like their review bomb attempt is completely falling flat
The people giving it a 1 dropped from 32.7 to 23.8 today lol
the people giving it a 10,9,8,7 are quickly gaining while the people giving it a 1 are rapidly losing ground. at the rate its going by tomorrow the people rating it a 10 will overtake the people rating it a 1
the movie overall imdb jumped from 5.6 to 6.3 ( its score is still rising rapidly )
these guys thought the could turn this into ghostbusters 2016
instead the trolls are falling flat on their faces

Just checked RT and the audience score is 31%
What losers.
So if some people actually genuinely didn’t like the movie that makes them losers?

Maybe you should go check the audience score for other "bad" superhero movies like Suicide Squad or Thor: The Dark World before saying stuff like this.
Anyone with a brain can figure out what is happening here.

This right here! ^Infinity War: 52,978
Captain Marvel: 58,365
Oh yeah, those user ratings are completely legit.
Forgive me for not following RT and all that stuff. I don’t go by websites like that or critics really etc. I just usually make up my mind if I wanna take the time to see the film in theater, home release or not at all and then go from there myself. My bad for not living on RT or following it.
