For those really obsessed with reviews: The way to really compare the reviews between movies at this stage (especially, say, ASM 2 and DOFP) is to take a look at metacritic. There, the top critics give scores out of 100 for the movies. The highest score ASM 2 got was 83 (from the Tampa Bay Times). Right now, DOFP has two 90s, from Variety and the Hollywood Reporter.

These come in slowly since the critics have to enter their scores.

^Also less people are qualified to be a critic on Metacritic than on Rottentomatoes. It adds a little more credibility to the score.

Very impressed with how this is holding up.

Singer and X-Men just go together. If only he had stayed and given us the epic Pheonix storyline 10 years ago.

I'm actually so happy this movie is doing well! Needed a lift after the critics squashed spidey so badly! I'm getting a vibe that wasn't there with TASM2, in fact, similar feeling to CA:TWS initial reactions.

I'm pretty confident this movie is going to be an absolute hit!

If it keeps up it's current ratio of Fresh/Rotten reviews it'll easily sail past the 70's and probably end up somewhere in the high 80's.
