Man that first (technically 3rd) negative review that comes in is going to sting. The "first" one always does.

As long as it goes straight back on a run of positives after and doesn't open the floodgates for a rash of negatives it'll be fine. Will definitely sting though the moment that 1st one's uploaded.

The rush of negatives is bound to happen... it always does. The film will get around 250-300 reviews on RT.. so we just need to keep the negatives around 20-25 to stay in the 90s.

It is crazy how this film is holding up, at the rate the positive reviews are coming in the film will be certified fresh. The final score is more tricky does it stay in the low 90s or 80s? Time will tell

It doesn't say there. I would think 4 if he follows his pal Ebert. But he could be different from him. Also San Jose Mercury News gives 3.5 stars as well, and called it Timeless fun. I think he is a top critic also.

Yeah, but remember after the main embargo lists at some point tomorrow and Friday, there will be a few RT updates where 50 reviews get added at once. It'll be harder to keep track.

Yeah, hopefully only 5 or 6 negatives in each batch with 44/45 positives to make up for them. t: Wouldn't be fun getting 15 in a 50 batch.

I'm more interested in the average rating hope it gets above winter solider's 7.7, slightly dissapointed that it will not cross 8.0 like the top three did TDK (8.5) SM2 (8.3) TA (8.0) which lead to the high 90s after 200+ reviews. I hope DOFP stays at 90s but if the av rating stays as it is, sooner or later it would go down to the high 80s.

I'm just hoping these 44 reviews so far are a decent indication of what the other critics say. Really, what are the chances the next 200 are so split and divided that it drops into the 70s?

I think it being in the high 80s to low 90s is pretty realistic at this point.

I don't think it is a true embargo by Fox. It is more just not trying to release every review at once. But Thursday and Friday are typically when most sites post their reviews. It will be nuts though tomorrow and hard to keep up.
