So just looking at all the MCU movies and there RT score from best to worst and also what its fan score was.

1. Iron man 94%/91%
2. Spider-Man homecoming 93%/?
3. Avengers 92%/91%
4. GOTG 92%/91%
5. Doctor strange 90%/86%
6. Captain America civil war 90%/89%
7. Captain America winter soilder 89%/92%
8. GOTG 2 81%/89%
9. Ant man 81%/86%
10. Captain America first advenger 80%/74%
11. Iron man 3 79%/78%
12. Thor 77%/76%
13. Avengers AOU 75%/83%
14. Iron man 2 72%/72%
15. Incredable hulk 67%/71%
16. Thor the dark world 66%/77%

A lot of these movies the fan and the critic score is around the same. GOTG 2, AOU and Thor the dark world are like the 3 where fan score is much higher. Surprised that AOU has a higher fan score has it gets a lot of hate.

This movie deserves every bit of praise it's getting. This movie deserves to be up there with some of the greats. What an amazing movie, what a time to be a Spider-Man fan!

I really feel bad for some of these stuck in their ways "not my Spider-Man" fans who delair war on this movie. It really is a true sensation and one of the most fun, rewarding, inspirational and well crafted superhero movies. It seriously deserves to be uo there with the likes of avengers, tdk, and sm2.

On another streak of Fresh reviews, 21 in a row now, the last review just made it go back up to 94%.

Audience scores are also coming in now.

Why feel bad? I mean, that's fandom as a whole. Can't really say much if people have their preferences and want to enjoy that over what's new. Happens all the time with Batman and Superman, happened when Garfield got cast after Maguire, happened after Holland got cast, and I guarantee you that when Holland is recast down the line, it'll happen to him. Despite how good a new version may be, people will always love the version they prefer or grew up with more.

Back up to 94 but I am still going to say it will not finish at 94 because it dosnt have much room to spare to stay at 94 and it has been on like a great fresh streak lately so you have to think there are going to be some negitives soon. I think we are looking at 93-92.

Well at this point, bearing any unforeseen circumstances, I think it's safe to say that it going to end up at or above 90% on RT which is a spectacular accomplishment with all this film had going against it. Marvel Studios commitment to quality and the amazing results achieved after 9 years of existence and 16 movies is unparalleled in the industry. Thinking that Phase 3, 4 movies in, currently sits at an average 88,75% on RT, with 3 films at or above 90% is just insane and speaks volumes about the competence of all the people involved.

Sony please don't eff this up! It's my only worry going forward, Tom Rothman's a the reason Fox and Marvel never got along.

It's clear they've made a great Spider-Man movie now they just need it to be a financial success. The budget not being through the roof is a plus.

30 Fresh in a row now. Although I hear Armond White has written his obligatory Rotten review as well.

This time yesterday they had only a couple of theaters for digital viewing of HC. Then they started adding more later in the day.

Guess I was wrong that Marvel might not break 90 on the Tomatometer this year. That's three studios this year to put out 90+ superhero films. Holy cow.

(170 fresh, 12 rotten) now back to 93%. But, luckily, it only needs 3 more fresh reviews to get back to 94%.

Probably the best year for comic book movie quality overall ever.

...until November, probably :whatever:

Has Armond White chimed in yet? You may as well pencil him in for a negative lol.

Well it'll still be 4 different Studios if Thor gets 90+.

Those are both Marvel Studios, even if Sony funded and distributed one of the movies.

It's a Marvel movie made by Sony Studios. Technically no Disney/Buena Vista released Marvel movie has 90+ this year.

Marvel Studios is the actual production company involved, though. Which is why I said Marvel broke 90 on the Tomatometer, not Disney/Buena Vista or Sony.

This is one of the more inane conversations I've had on this board. :oldrazz:

Wait ... now "people" are refusing to take that a movie featuring RDJ as Tony Stark, with footage from Captain America: Civil War, a flashback to The Avengers, other MCU actors appearing, being produced by Kevin Feige, to be a Marvel movie?

We're arguing semantics. This is a Marvel movie, just distributed by Sony.

Same way the first few MCU have Paramount and Universal on them.
