God dammit. This is the second time I've come up with an RPG that got a bunch of people interested, only to lose all of the attention to another Batman game

Exactly. MB and I talked it over last night. Maybe sometime post NML. That way, you can have all the characters from the Batfamily, Rogues, and GCPD without having to deal with some of the changes that happened during Hush and IC.

Could we bring new characters that were post NML in?

Keep in mind, I've only read Batman and Son. I don't know if he gets better or worse in Ra's Ressurection or any of the other stories.

Here's an idea I've been knocking around for some time, I won't attempt to start such a game at the moment but maybe after Horrors and Monsters are done with.

Basically this RPG would allow players to play through a different film or television show (or in some special cases a very story driven video game) each season. That way people who may have wanted a Terminator or Aliens or even Lord of the Rings RPG could have a play around in that universe without the fear of the RPG not garnering much attention. You could change the film's story however you want or stick as close as you can. Each season players will vote on the next film/game we use next.

Just think about it. Those RPGs you always wanted to start but knew it'd never have enough interest or not be deep enough for an ongoing thing, you could play with those characters and that universe of a season and then boom onto the next one.

Films/Tv series I had in mind: Aliens, Terminator (perhaps set during the future war?), Godfather (good old mobster fun), Lord of the Rings, Scrubs, Simpsons (The app for that RPG doesn't seem to be going anywhere.). The possibilities are pretty much endless, I'm sure you guys can come up with some more kick ass universes to explore.

JB, please forgive this poor soul for he know not what he says.

As for a rebirth of G&M? I might be down for that. I was one of the active posters, but I stopped being active since it's not fun to be...well one of the only active posters. You glance at the roster and see several characters yet only 2 or 3 posting every other week.

Well, I'd definitely be in. I must've joined just after it finished because I've never noticed such an RPG... but heroic fantasy is my favorite novel genre and I'd love to participate.
