I've been kicking an idea around in my head about a WW2 RPG. I've a lot on that era and would be a true World War in the sense that people could play as any of the Allied or Axis powers during the war. You'd be able to play any historical figure from that era. From the likes of Hitler and Churchill, on down to the generals like Monty and Ike and on down to the rank and file soldiers and officers. Figure it'd be a short-term RPG with people playing out the war during the major focal points. From the invasion of Poland, Stalingrad, Pearl Harbor, Battle of Britain, and etc.

So, with the Last Airbender film on the horizon (and from what I've heard from some early screen reviews, it doesn't sound all that bad), not to mention the fact that the original cartoon kicked all kinds of ass, would anybody be interested in an "Avatar: The Last Airbender" RPG? Come on people, you'd all get to do all kinds of cool magic kung-fu!

It wasn't for the SOLE hype, but I thought that the hype couldn't hurt. I enjoyed RPing in the Avatar verse on other forums in the past, so I can't say it'll be a quick dying interest of mine after the film has released

So, if an A:TLA RPG was started up on the Hype, when would everyone like it set in? Pre-show, post-show, or during the show? I personally would like to do post-show, much like how the Star Wars RPG is post-Episode 6 (plus the show left off on a few loose strings). I'd LOVE to RP as a post-Season 3 Ozai

I attempted to apply for an AvP game waaaayyyy back a couple of years ago, but it never got past the concept stage. Shame, too, because I was in an Aliens game on a different forum that was effing boss.

I loved me some Avatar: TLA, but 90% of the reason I loved it so much was because of the characters themselves, not to mention the extremely funny humor in the show. Somehow I doubt that would translate quite as well with player-created characters.

An A:TLA RPG would obviously let you play as the characters, and I'm fairly sure more people would want to RP as pre-established characters then created ones.

I would be up for a Kingdom Hearts RPG. Square and Disney villains unite!

A GTA RPG ... could be fun. Playing as a corrupt cop dishing out some indispensable justice sounds like fun
