So I re-watched the Pilot on my dvd portable player last night
. I admit there were parts - especially the other two episodes that followed, made me go 'omg...' 'haha'. you know, there were some cheesy funny parts in it but I think the third episode, which I watched really early this morning at around 6:00 AM, it got serious enough to make me stick around with it. I did watch the second episode after the Pilot but I passed out and missed 15 mins of it so when I woke up just after 5:30, I went back to finish watching that episode before I got to the third one.
So far, with the way the series has gone through and what I've watched, I like it. I never thought Lena Headey could potentially pull it off as Sarah Connor in a way that Linda Hamilton had done in the previous two movies. She really made the role her own and thats really something you don't see all the time, especially when it comes to how iconic the Terminator franchise and the characters has become over several decades.
Im not really a fan, but I grew up watching T2 a lot with my bro so that movie is burned into my mind cause I remember it so vividly as to what happens and who is in it from start to finish. The reason I watched the first film was to refresh my memory of what happened in it.
I watched/listened to the commentary of the third episode - the one with Lena and the dude who plays John- oh and the writer Josh. lets just say, and I mean for those who have heard the commentary, I find them to be hilarious but at the same time: interesting. Even though there were times where they joked around, they still y'know discussed and went into detail of how they did each scene and also explained why they shot this the way they did. Stuff like that. Its interesting but hey, it doesn't hurt to have a bit of fun too. hehehe. Lena was hilarious. Her accent on the show is pretty amazing.
Oh and by the way, I had two dreams and Lena was in it and a bunch of terminators were too. It was scary stuff but it was a bit f***ed up. lols.
