The Sarah Connor Chronicles

I didnt really like the entire submarine scenes. I liked the end when the T-800's popped out but then it got dumb by that guy handing that other dude a box. These new characters every episode kind of making it confusing if you dont pay attention closely. I like where there going with teh whole not trusting cameron thing. With Jesse trying maybe to convince Derek to find a way to take her out.

The scene with Sarah and Cam is my fave. Best Scene, aside from the scene with Sarah and John in the garage when he says "You don't know anything." wow... it got me a bit...*sniffles* :(

I see where Jesse is coming from with John and his attachment to metal. He did not trust enough to tell her the mission he told the metal captain. He did not trust humans enough to guard the box he choose metal. Then in the next episode instead of questioning Jesse herself about looking in the box he sends Cameron. I don't know what this means for whatever is in the box but if the metal guarding the box are not resistance than there is something really wrong and tells a lot about Skynet and John relationship.

Sometimes i wish that Cameron would just empty a clip into John's face.

Emotional teenage moron.

But the ending of the episode made me wish that he's smart enough to figure out by looking at the bruises on Riley's corpse, that Cameron wasn't responsible.Riley wouldn't even had a chance to fight back. There would be no bruises because Cameron would probably just snap her neck or something like that.

TV squad has declared Cameron Phillips to be "TV's hottest female non-human."

If you've read my previous comments on this show, you can probably guess that I am pleased with the verdict. :woot:

who's cameron phillips?

Srsly wtf, since when does cameron have a last name? And how the hell would she end up with that awful name?
I thought this was common knowledge:huh:

Also, I'm trying to piece together the significance of John's trip to the morgue. I know it was a very solemn moment for him, seeing Riley's dead body, however I wonder if the wounds on her body were evidence that Cameron wasn't her killer? She had scrapes on her fingers and bruises all over herself, which implied a struggle. If Cameron wanted to kill Riley, you'd think it would have been much cleaner. If Cameron wanted to kill Riley, it's unlikely there'd be any visible signs of a struggle, since Riley wouldn't have even had a chance to fight back.

That's what i was thinkng too. Cameron wouldn't have healed that fast. There would be visible scraps on her body, as Riley was fighting her assailant back. I think John is gonna put two and two together..although he's unaware of Jesse..
..Riley's tattoo...did she have the future bar code lasered off when she travelled back, and put the star tat over it...?

I was hoping that Riley's foster dad was going to mention the weird sexy guidance counselor (Jesse) that came to visit Riley and thus set John on the hunt for Jesse, but I suppose the wounds on Riley's body served that same purpose.

I'm getting impatient with the Shirley Mansonator subplot. Someone from Sarah's Scooby Gang needs to cross paths with the T-1001 - preferably Cameron, so they can have a big cybernetic girlfight.

Did she have a bar code? You only get one if you are caught so maybe she was always in the slums and never had been seen to be caught

Tonight's ep. was decent, although I felt like it wasn't really revealing too much, so hopefully the next episode is more exciting. I did find it kind of suspicious how the Connors' landlady seemed to give an almost perfect police profile of Riley's corpse to Sarah right out of the blue, but I think I'd chock that one up to plot convenience moreso than some kind of kooky conspiracy (but hey, I could be wrong).
Thought this was weird myself. Still expect more to come from that. If not, then it was the worst plot convenience ever. Especially considering how much Riley was around. The neighbor girl never noticed her before??
I'm interested to see where the plotline in the future, with Jesse's submarine crew is headed. Were the endoskeletons and the T-600 guarding the box scrubbed resistance units? Did Captain Quid go bad and was trying to sabotage the resistance, or did John make some kind of deal with the machines resulting in the exchange? If it's the latter, then what could the machines possibly have that they'd be willing to part with, and why the heck would they be willing to bargain with the resistance under any circumstances at all? It's getting quite interesting indeed.
Cameron? You know, the Cameron cyborg. However, I don't know what the machines took as "payment" for providing this cyborg to him. Maybe they figured it was a good chance to try and kill him.

This is definitely the case, it will serve as the plot point for him finding out the truth. But not before the writers "milk" the continued angst between Cameron, Sarah and anyone else.

Coulda been worse. She could've been Cameron Sony or Cameron Apple. :D

whatever, that's her name isn't it

Only if you'll accept the show to be renamed The Sarah Baum Chronicles. :oldrazz:

Here's a possible theory... could Jesse's plot/manipulation of Riley have inadvertently caused John to become reliant on Machines? It's been described that Future John is pretty much a loner and doesn't let anyone get close to him. After this episode, he does seem to be becoming more reclusive, so as not to get others hurt.

Could be...

......the preview for next week looked like Jesse was talking to Cameron. Whether it was their future or present selves, or clever editing..we'll have to see....

You know I was thinking the same thing. It should be interesting to see how John learns who was behind Riley's death and what he'll do about it when he faces Jesse. I like to see how that'll unfold. If Jesse does harm John in some way, I'm sure Sarah will most likely give Jesse what she deserves for what she had done: a good ass kicking. Either Derek and Sarah will confront her but I dunno, I hate to speculate what may and what may not happen. Can't wait til part 2.

As for poor Cameron's situation, it's pretty obvious that Sarah has completely lost all faith in her after coming across her stockpile, and still thinks she killed Riley, but she's at least not going to be manipulated into getting rid of her. I think Sarah has come to acknowledge the fact that John sees Cameron as more than a machine, and considering he'd already lost one girl who he cared about, Sarah wasn't about to take away the other, no matter how much she wanted to.

Great analysis of the episode Tim.

I do think Jesse's mission in the future in regards to getting the package from the machines will be what triggers her mission in the past to separate John from Cameron.

Thought it was quite poignant when Cameron explained to Sarah how future John cuts himself off from human communication.

Have any of you guys gotten the soundtrack yet?

I HIGHLY recommend it. Bear McCreary's score for the show is incredible. I haven't been able to put it down since i got it.

Wow glad Im not the only one crazy for Headey. I can't stop listening to Bear McCreary's score. I was listening to the commentary of The Turk and Thomas Derrek mentions the score and comments how beautiful the Sarah's theme is and the rest of the soundtrack. I love the Motorcycle Robot Chase. Man, its so..badass and awesome.

bear mcgreary scores this too? nice.

and jesse will get sympathy after this ep?
