The Sarah Connor Chronicles

Oh yeah, and John totally got blue-balled in this episode. I can only imagine what was going through his head when Cameron said "I need you to know how this body works," then proceeded to strip and ask him to climb on top of her. He must have been like "OMG, Cameron is totally asking me to do it with her! I shouldn't, Mom would kill me... Oh screw it, I'm gonna go for it!" And then, Cameron pulls out the knife, and asks him to check her power cell.

ACCESS DENIED!

Poor John. I bet he's feeling awful sore right about now. :(

WORD!

When that scene started I said: "Yes! Finally John gets to do what I'VE wanted to do for two years!" And then... nota. The writers are just playing with us. They know were want to see it and they won't give it to us. :csad:

Absolutely LOVED the finale!! Wonderful cliffhanger with lots of story potential to expand upon yet vague enough that it can be reinterpreted as the series finale with everything wrapped up perfectly. It was clearly deliberate on the showmakers' part to make it so just in case Fox decides not to renew.

I'd first like to gloat that I had been right from the start regarding Weaver's true allegiance; not on Skynet's side but not quite on the Resistance's either. She's a wild card operating independently from the two major factions.

For those wondering why nobody knew John after the jump, I think it's obvious. He's jumped into the future and it is from this point that he becomes the leader of the Resistance. As they're now closer in age, it's now more likely that John and Allison have a close/romantic relationship (hence why Cameron took on her appearance in order to get close to John as seen in the flashback episode). It also explains why they never showed Future John in any of the flashbacks; so as not to spoil the fact that he's not as old as he should've been had he aged normally and not jump ahead.

As for why Cameron gave John Henry her chip; I think it was to serve as the incentive for John Connor to jump into the future. Had she not been taken, I doubt John would've followed Weaver. That said, it's a pity that her body didn't make it into the future as well.

Overall, I really liked the episode. It really tied up quite a number of the loose ends brought up in this season, such as the Kaliba Group's role in Judgment Day and why Derek was so unceremoniously killed off (can you imagine what would've happened if he had jumped into the future as well?). Plus, I liked how they brought in some of the past characters into the episode (Chola, the Latina chick from the first season, and the priest from the first episode of this season). Finally, I'll state the obvious; that Cameron's attack on the prison was a crowning moment of awesome. Lastly, did anyone feel a little twinge at the second last scene when we see Derek, Kyle and Allison (essentially his only family other than Sarah) in the future, knowing that they are all going to die for John?

And on a more humorous note; this jump does introduce a plot hole... In the flashbacks, we've seen Kyle carrying a photo of Sarah. If John's jumped into the future without even the clothes on his back, how did they get their hands on a photo of her?

Nar i dont think the John From 2008 is the John in the future, i think at some point when he has done what ever he needs to in the future he will go back and then live out his life until the resistance is born, then give said photo to Kyle, or else the series is going to screw everything up from the past and for furture films. he HAS to go back.

One thing they are 100% getting wrong is the humans on one knee thing when they go into the future, one terminators are on one knee not humans!!

I agree things need to be set right.

There is no John Connor to lead the resistance because he jumped ahead in time. If you're not there, you can't do anything.

There is no alternate John Connor that young Connor will meet.

This alternate reality substituted John for probably Kyle or John Henry.

Anyone know where I can watch the first 10 episodes of Season 2 online? I checked out Hulu but they only have like the last half of the season and not the first half.

I don't think this is the beginning of the Resistance as John is simply too young to lead them and they're all about as old as they should be in the 2020s and would have heard of John Connor by that point. He jumped over his growth as leader and now they don't have one.

Evidence besides the picture is that Derek told John on his birthday in season 1 that he celebrated his 40th birthday with him in the future.

yipper.....John is screwed right now

What good would John Henry be in the future?

"We put Solek here to attack the HK's and then set up base in Karda Nui

"The machines are attacking Serrano Point!"

John Henry rolls a D12 on suck.....skynet wins....

I was thinking that Weaver was trying to build a better Skynet....try to take over a different way as opposed to nuclear holocaust.....I wonder what her motivations really are

Thanks for all your insides on the finale guys, it cleared up a few questions I had about the end'er.

It's definitely an interesting ending, whether it be for the series or the season. I still really hope the show gets renewed.

The scene where Cameron wanted John to "check her shielding" was pretty intense. The implications of who he fell in love with first, Allison or Cameron, it's all very interesting. It's just this loop of him conflicted over his feelings for both.

lol, i was kinda waiting for that. I dont know how he held back!

I didn't....because that would be gross....she is a machine
I still don't think so, just like SF said...

Women have been banging machines for a long time.
;)

Finale ratings are in, not good. :(

Updated Friday Ratings: Terminator: TSCC goes out with a whimper
Posted on 11 April 2009 by Robert Seidman

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles ended its season (and almost certainly, series) on a flat note with 3.6 million viewers and a 1.3 adults 18-49 rating. Dollhouse was down a tenth versus last week with a 1.4. But last week Dollhouse had a 1.4 in the overnights that went up to a 1.5 in the finals.

Another tenth of an 18-49 point won’t likely save Dollhouse and it’s too bad because last night’s episode was actually pretty good ( I liked it at least as much as the vaunted sixth episode, perhaps more).

Ghost Whisperer had 10.23 million viewers and a 2.5 rating in its first new episode in a while and as usual, led all Friday viewing. Flashpoint was flat from last week with 9.7 million viewers and a 1.9. Numb3rs pulled a 2.2 in the demo. I’m not sure if Numb3rs having identical viewing numbers to Flashpoint is mere coincidence or Berman typo, but I’m pretty sure the 18-49 numbers are right either way. Note, an earlier version of the data table below listed Numb3rs as a repeat, but it was a new episode. I make plenty of typos myself!

Friday Night Lights season three finale drew a 4.4 and a 1.3 rating with adults 18-49. Why does one show with a 1.3 rating survive while another won’t? The DirecTV checkbook!

ABC came in second for the night both in the demo and overall viewers with its unscripted Friday night lineup.

8:00 CBS Ghost Whisperer 2.5/9 10.23
ABC Wife Swap (R) 1.4/5 4.64
FOX Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles 1.3/5 3.56

CBS is the only network that has really good Friday night numbers because people that watch CBS are primarily old people waiting to die....

I do DVR Flashpoint though, I like it....

I keep repeating myself, its the content of what you put on Friday nights....you cant put anything too serious on....

After rewatching the episode, I noticed in the scene when John Connor first discovers that John Henry had taken Cameron's chip, they showed one of the computer screens with the message "I'm sorry John" being repeated again and again. I assume it's meant to be a message from Cameron.

However, given that her chip was with John Henry in the future, who or what was typing the message?
