I wouldn't even finish it if I were you. The ending is a mind-**** cliff hanger. I think I'd be happier not knowing the end of season 2 considering we'll never have any form of resolution.
Maybe there is a chance of a comeback? I seemed like it was cancelled to avoid comparisons with Salvation, but now it seems like the new movie is a critical and box-office failure, so...

Maybe this show is the only future this franchise has left :csad:

Hmmm another waste of my time

Why bother watching shows anymore, TV is over flowing with crap and they cancel this!

:bh:

Well, with this being cancelled and T4 underperforming at the box office, the Terminator franchise is not doing well right now.

maybe Arnold could be back for the next movie..................:hehe:

Watched the episode with Cameron in the library tracking the Terminator from the 1920's

Damn it, I love this show :(

I kinda wish they did a TV series about John Connor in the future. But oh well...

Fans of the show....what did you think about the movie?

Did the tv show ALSO (much like T3) screw up the timeline? If I recall correctly in season 1 (the first episode took place in 1999, the second scene after the opening credits have Sarah and John talking about how it's only been 2 years since the Cyberdyne incident) which would make that 97 (when in T2 they describe the apacalypse taking place in 97) while the events in the movie took place in 93

or am I mistaken?

Trying to make heads or tails of the Terminator timeline will cause internal bleeding

Especially now that after going to the effort to add-on to T2 it looks like the franchise will never be complete in any format.

I think everything after T2 messed up the timeline. I dunno, the whole damn thing makes me head hurt just thinkin about it

Definitely enjoyed Terminator: Salvation...I'd give it a 8/10. I just hope they actually go through with the sequels despite the lower than expected Box Office.

yea I just rewatched it. The month and year at the begining of the first episode with Sarah talking to John in his bedroom is August 1999. John says to Sarah "It's been almost 2 years" (Obviously talking about the events in T2)

it was the scene after it also, when Sarah's fiance is talking to the police after her and john bail on him. The cop mentions how it's been 2 years since she escaped from the mental institution and her along with Miles Bennet Dyson blew up the Cyberdyne research facility

yea, they screwed up BIG TIME

and that's something at least Salvation can say it DIDN'T do

I don't see what you guys are talking about. T2 came out in '92 but the events in the movie were supposed to be '97. Connor was born in '85 and was suppose to be 12 yrs old.

How did they screw up the timeline?

Wrong. The events in the movie take place in 93 while John is only 9 not 12.

Rewatch the part after they break Sarah out of the mental institution and stop at the gas station during the daytime, shortly after John teaches the T800 how to smile (directors cut). They get into the car and Sarah asks him to explain to her how Skynet gets built. Arnold proceeds to explain to her that the man most responsible in Miles Bennet Dyson. (I'm actually watching the movie as I type this so I know my info is on point). Anyways, he explains that "in a few months" (from the current point in time in the film) Miles will create the chip, then 3 years later (1996) Cyberdyne will become the worlds largest supply of Military Computer Systems and that all stealth bombers are installed with Cyberdyne computers becoming fully unmanned. Skynet funding bill is passed and the system goes online August 4th 1997. It becomes "self aware" at 2:14 a.m. Eastern Time, August 29th, 1997. Cyberdyne tries to pull the plug and in self defense, Skynet sets off our nukes against the targets in Russia.

I was way off but you're off a little too. I just googled a couple sites and the consenses is that John was 10 in T2 and the events happened in '95.

I can't check right now, but in the police car computer, wasn't John listed as 10 year old? and if he was born in late 84 or 85, the year should be 1995, and if it is 3 years before JD, then the voiceover at the begining stating that JD is on 1997 is wrong...

well what are you going to believe? Your google searches or the actual movie itself?

I would be inclined to trust Arnold over a couple of websites

but that's just me

yes, John is 10, not 9, that was my mistake

both the voiceover AND Arnold's T800 state that Judgement Day takes place in 97

meaning the events in T2 couldn't be later than 94

rewatch the scene I was talking about in my long paragraph. The scene with John, Sarah and the T800 in the car after they stop at the gas station for food. Sarah asks' the T800 to explain everything about Skynet to her and he does, it's all there

in a few months Miles will create the chip, then 3 years later (assuming T2 is in 94) would make it 97 the absolute latest when Skynet becomes self aware and sets off our nukes

But if The Terminator is set in 1984..then John can't be 10 in 1993...

If so... then precious little T2 already screw the timeline :D
