The saving energy thread.

It's cause women have better imaginations then visually aided required males. :(

it must suck to be so limited. maybe that's why there's such a wide array of porn out there. lol

When we think of naked women it usually involves stick figures with circles drawn for boobs.

It's the ladies of the Hype turning all threads into smut. :(

Curse them. Curse them all, for ruining the serious threads.

Yes, because only women would derail a thread into sex...

You got it. The females around here are a bunch of sick perverts.

;)

I can't help it if their minds are constantly in the gutters.

hey... i made a serious comment before i began joking around smuttily (if that's a word). and some serious suggestions.

admit it though, you guys like it ;)

I do. :( Considering I started it. :)

Again.

carpooling and buying a more fuel efficient car is a good start.

It's far less destructive to the environment than fuel. And cheaper.

If youre worried about sulfur dioxide or air pollution in general then you should be more concerned about a volcano errupting then people driving around or using gas.

Carpooling severly limits your freedom, and fuel efficient cars are ugly and not fast at all....plus, anyone actually realize how much eletricity some of them use? Anyone know where that electricity comes from??

I don't understand the people *****ing about gas prices, every day on the news theres a new putz that a reporter will go up to ask what they think of the gas prices. I actually read something that said "Well for now the people will pay the price for gas," What the **** are they going to do? Run out of gas on the freeway? Yeah they are going to buy gas still, what is the alternative, riding on the bus or train with all the poor people, crank users, Asians, black people and dumbasses in general? **** no, they will be pumping good ole unleaded into their ****ty SUVs while they wonder why they are paying $100 bucks to fill up their tank.
I'm just going to assume you're not being serious.

limits your freedom? if you're going to the same place as the people you're carpooling with then it doesn't matter. not all hybrids are ugly. honda makes hybrid civics that look identical to the regular civics. a lot of car companies are working on hybrid versions of their most popular models. those are some lame excuses, dude. why are you fighting against environmental preservation? don't you want future generations to have clean air and water? sounds pretty selfish to me.

Remove the plug from the power cable of your PC. Put the exposed wires on a burning candle. When they get hot enough, you'll be able to switch on your PC. This way, you save on electricity.

I'm going to test this one out.

We should be more concerned about what is in our means to control.

No its just called the hard truth. People won't want to do that, the people who have tanks as vehicles. They see that a level beneath them. When someone says, "well just ride the bus/train instead of driving" those type of people who ride public transit flash through their minds and they say "Well for now I'll pay the high price for gas." Knowing full well it will be a cold day in hell before they wait for a bus. Stereotypical? Yes, but thats what people see when public transit is mentioned. And its really not that far from reality anyway.

I never go to the same place. I wouldnt want to have to wait to leave the same time as everyone else, or not be able to drive to lunch...it would be like elementary schoo. And there isnt any hybrid that looks as nice or is as fast as any car I drive now.

And no, I dont want future generations to have clear air and water

We could help control their effects, and limit the severity of eruptions.
