Days of Future Past The Sentinels

50 year anniversary display makes it sound like it's the 1973 prototype...

See I thought of that announcement differently - the one that's on display there is the future look but the announcement is saying come see the crowning achievement.

So the one they want you to come see may be the original 70's version that hasn't been revealed yet.

It appears the plastic piece in front may very well flip back. Perhaps it flips forward before flight or as an additional defense mechanism?

Looking at head size, Sentinel have to be bigger than original size (about 12 feet).

I don't think a robot would need Hud glass. Since it could get all the information internally. But who knows.

My guess is defense. Looks like a shield.

The sentinel has blown my expectations out of the water. I know a lot of people don't have faith in Bryan Singer, but I do. I've never doubted him for a second. When Patrick Steward said this is going to be the mother of all X-men movies (paraphrasing), he wasn't kidding. This movie is going to ROCK!

I like the look.

One of the problems I had with X3 was how they're eyes rectangles, but the lights were circular. This one at least shows why they would be circular.

This could also just be the MK1, or a different model than what the X-men Fight. Perhaps just a SDCC display size model, Because Im sure these things will be bigger.
