Most of the viral goodies are focused on the sentinels, but I'm really curious about the genetic angle in this viral campaign.
1962: A young Bolivar Trask hypothesizes the link between traceable higher-order brain function and certain genetic mutations.
1976: Bolivar Trask revolutionizes the world of prosthetics through DNA-generated artificial limbs.
2013: Trask Laboratories unveils groundbreaking ability to create a hybrid gene with mutant DNA.
2018: Dr Gregory D Burnett revolutionizes a method of growing synthetic stem cells.
I find this all interesting because they could have just gone with the sentinel angle for Trask Industries, but we're getting a genetic/mutant research one as well. Granted, it makes sense that the sentinels, which are designed to hunt mutants, would need the science to identify their targets, but I wonder if there's more going on here then just sentinels.
Oh, and this is a pet peeve, but
Rosalind Franklin belongs with Watson and Crick. They totally cribbed her research without permission. It's pretty well known in the scientific community, but clearly hasn't been noted enough if the viral researchers didn't come across it.
