Hopefully they're bigger like the animated series. I like the look of the sentinels in these pics but they're a big too small to look intimidating to a powerful mutant.

What is with the massive white vent in the middle of the Sentinel. Looks like it moves. Direction perhaps? Seems odd.

These prototypes can't really stop someone like Magneto, who would run upshot over them. So that could lend credence to Beast working with Trask since he was big on cures and conforming. So maybe Magneto has been targeting Trask for some time. Meanwhile, Trask could still have other mutants working for him, assuming Hank is already there. So maybe Hank in the infiltrator once he is informed what is to happen in the future. The only problem is any villainous mutants would have been announced by now. So I just don't know how Trask is going to contend with a Magneto/Xavier team up.

I believe the list of specifications is for the Mark I (9th Generation). It seems to be under that heading.

by the end of the film they will probably have magnet shielding, that would stop magneto

lets be honest there seems to be a fair bit of futuristic science in the 70s anyway

i'm pretty sure its gonna be a mags and xavier team up so there has to be a threat here

They're 18 ft. tall. They already are approaching The Animated Series size, if they're not there already. The people in the background, closest to the sentinel, look as though they pose about as much a threat as Rogue and Wolverine in these shots.

Judging a book b its cover. One would think the sheet size of TAS Sentinels makes one thing they are formidable, but they come with more than size after first glance.

Same with the Mark 1s. Something, will happen, which is why I am content until the movie is released to answer questions. Magneto's reference about a weapon is the Mark X. Or, just the same, that scene may have just been to tease, not be taken as canon. I'm not to caught up in the whole continuity issues, takes away from actually enjoying the movie as it is.

I don't think they have been. I suspect they're probably part of the alterenate timeline in some capacity.
