The Shield

yeah, like he was trying to piss claudette off or something. They never got into whatever it was...

What's the name of the officer Vic starts fingerbangin' while they're keepin' an eye on Rawlings?

Last night was one hell of a great episode. Maybe the best one this season. I really like the relationship between Vic and Rawlings. It’s cool to finally see a show where a cop and his captain get along instead of them always being at each other’s throats, and how that even will still create other conflicts. I like the way Vic is looking out for her and the way she’s trying to help him too. Also, that last scene between Vic and Shane… DAMN, was there some good acting there. I can’t wait to see the Strike Team back together in full force. Divided, nothing seems to be going right for any of them, but I think once they’re back to the solid group they used to be, then Antoine, Acevada, and everyone else giving them sh** is going to get whats coming to them.

Other stuff… man, Shane’s partner is a dumbass. If he doesn’t get killed in the next few episodes, I’ll be really surprised. Also, it was good to see Vic and Danni getting a little action, and I’m also glad Corrine isn’t such a bee-yatch anymore. Still, it’ll be very interesting when Vic finds out about her and Dutch, heh heh. Speaking of Dutch, its good to see he’s got some of his instincts back.

Also, have any of you seen a short film called “Mullitt?” It’s about this guy with a mullet who owes rent to his landlord because his roommate wasted all their cash on crack. He tries to sell some of his Spider-Man comic book collection to this dealer but the guy won’t buy them because he has a grudge against him. So the hero concocts this plan to steal his landlord’s most prized possession: a piece of Barbara Streisand's wedding cake. It’s one f**ked up, absolutely hilarious movie that I hope to find someday on DVD. Anyway, this guy Pat Healy wrote, directed, and starred in it. He was on The Shield last night. He played the guy who stole the money out of the register who Dutch and Claudette caught at the end. When I saw him, I was like “IT’S MULLITT!!!” Just a little tidbit of information for ya’ll. If any of you should happen upon this film, I highly recommend it. You’ll laugh your ass off.

And on a final note... Acevada is one f**ked up dude!!!

Danielle 'Danny' Sofer

and that was a hot scene

Danni is looking even hotter than usual this season. :)

Also, that hooker Captian Assinvader is banging is pretty hot too.

I'm really looking forward to seeing what happens with Shane now. It looks like Vic is gonna help Shane out, but what about Lem and Ronnie? They were all for taking out Shane this episode, and after Vic's speech about "stopping him" a couple episodes back, what are they gonna think?

As for Rawling moving into the neighborhood...

Glenn Close is only signed on for one season. Am I the only one thinking that she's going to meet a grisly end for deciding to stay in the hood?

Yeah i think Glenn Close is probably a one season character it wouldnt suprise me for her to meet a grisly demise.

Yeah, I really like Glenn's character, but I can't see her being on the show for more than one season. She's such a big name that I don't think she'd commit to a really long term contract.

Aceveda is quite possibly the slimiest bastard on television.

Overall, a great episode. Realy tense ending, I was sure Vic was going to shoot Shane. There were actually a couple of moment where I felt the tension. This moment, of course. But also when Vic was talking to Corrine. I was sure Vic was going to walk in on Dutch.

But on the subject of this scene, does anyone else think that Dutch wil find the money? Will that put him back on Vic's trail for the Money Train case? Oh, and spekaing of Dutch, wasn't it cool to see him tackling a guy to the ground? Who knew Dutch could be badass...

Tonight's episode was pretty good, I like the build up of tension, next week should be great.

I agree tonight's episode was good and next week's looks amazing!

Man, things are REALLY heating up! Yeah, something's gonna go down with Antwan. I think I even saw bruh-man shed a tear in that preview! He's gonna roll on somebody!

The preview they showed about her bringing up Antone's gay son was pretty funny. The look on his face when he looked over to Vic was priceless :D

Yeah, last night was very good and I can't wait for next week. Somebody's going down...

I don't think so. We just waited an extra week, and epguides.com lists the rest of the episodes coming out regularly

I don't know what any of the other future episodes have to do with The Shield skipping an extra week last week, but i just can't think of any other reason why. There wasn't any special broadcast, just Independence Day; and that runs almost every week.
