Documentary/Biopic The Social Reckoning: The Social Network 2

what happened in the last years with facebook would make an interesting story for a movie. 10 years ago if you would made it up for a movie people would laugh that this can happen only in a movie. Fincher of course has to direct.

Are they going to call it the Social Network 2 or maybe slightly alter the title? Maybe the Privacy Network? Or the Social Privacy.
The Social Media.

Social Privacy and Privacy Network won't make sense especially there's not much social privacy when it comes to social media networks.

Sorkin directing instead of Fincher is already an L.

Not really interested.

Didn't think the first movie, or Fincher generally, was spectacular, or Sorkin spectacular aside from just A Few Good Men, thought the first movie was already way too venomous and it feels like this would be more and worse.

I didn't see Molly's Game but Trial of the Chicago 7 and Being the Ricardos were mediocre at worst. It's not like Sorkin is Michael Bay when it comes to directing.

No, but after Fincher, that’s a rather significant drop off.

Bit of a John Carpenter to Rick Rosenthal situation.

Oh thank God.

I assume Eisenberg is playing Zuckerberg again?

Eisenberg is gonna be like Colonel Kurtz and only show up at the end. lol

As much as I adore Jeremy Strong and think he'd be a great replacement- if he does- there's something about Eisenberg's performance that I feel would be hard to replicate.

It's a win-win regardless, just having Strong in the film if this is finalized.

Strong Oscar-nom loading.

I ain't mad at this. Great cast. Sorkin is clearly a great writer while competent enough as a director. Very intrigued by this one.

Strong is undeniably a great actor and I'm sure he'll still be great anyway but I just can't see him as Zuckerberg. I wish Eisenberg had come back.
